TEHRAN – Iran and Azerbaijan Republic expressed hope over improvement in their bilateral trade relations and called for enhancing it.

TEHRAN - Mohammad Ali Najafi, a senior reformist politician, has been sentenced to death for murdering his wife, Iran’s Judiciary Spokesman Gholam-Hossein Esmaeili announced on Tuesday.

TEHRAN - Iran on Sunday officially announced the beginning of the second phase of the reduction of its commitments under the Iran nuclear deal, boosting the level of its uranium enrichment to a level beyond the 3.67% limit set by the JCPOA.

TEHRAN - Uzbekistan Ambassador to Tehran Bahador Abdullaev yesterday met the head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce Mr. Gholam-Hossein Shafei and exchanged views on ways for easing the trade between Iran and Uzbekistan.

TEHAN - Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who was on an official visit to Islamabad, has held talks with top Pakistani officials on expansion of reciprocal ties in the fields of border security, fight against terror, and linking the two sides’ strategic ports together.

TEHRAN – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic announced his country’s eagerness to continue its economic ties with Iran and called for presenting new patterns for developing bilateral trade ties.

TEHRAN – Head of Tehran’s Chamber of Commerce Masoud Khansari during meeting with Belarusian Ambassador to Tehran Mr. Yury Lazarchik announced readiness of the chamber for dispatching trade delegation to Belarus.

TEHRAN – Croation Ambassador to Tehran Drago Stambuk yesterday in meeting with the head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce Mr. Gholam-Hossein Shafei said that his country is keen to continue its economic cooperation with Iran.

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said Tehran and Moscow would continue their cooperation to jointly fight “international terrorism”.
