President Rouhani’s government resorted to any means and pretext to meet U.S. President Donald Trump. In other words, it used to do a favor to the nation by claiming he wants to meet Mr. Trump for the sake of them in order to lift sanctions. But God willing, both Mr. Rouhani backtracked and Mr. Trump got shamefaced.

In the past, government was interested in meeting with Trump while the Supreme Leader had not even answered to Trump’s message, submitted by visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

On the ineffectiveness of sanctions, we sometimes notice domestic analyses and sometimes we see even foreign analysts avow it. Last week Michael Luders, famous German analyst and political expert, was the guest of popular TV program of Markus Lanz on German TV channel ZDF. During his analysis on the challenges between Iran and the U.S., Mr. Luders, for the first time in German media, hinted to some important points. He said, “Whether we want or not, the U.S. maximum pressure for bringing down Iran has totally failed … and there is not at all any chance for the U.S. military victory on Iran. Between the Atlantic Ocean (Morocco Desert) and Pacific Ocean (Indonesia Archipelago), Iran is the only country which has taken an independent policy from the West and it continues its independent path despite hurdles, and the U.S. also has no practical way for curbing the country…. Wise and very, very smart leadership of Iran has succeeded in foiling all U.S. actions and it has created an effective irregular military for confronting the U.S. and its allies by having strong allies from Mediterranean Sea to the Indian Ocean and through forming popular defense forces… This wise and smart leadership by having precise awareness about the condition in the region and the world, unlike Saudi Arabian regime which is unable to run its own country, knows fully what it wants and what it does… On the opposite side, Trump knows that any military action against Iran would lead to his defeat in the upcoming U.S. election and will make Iran’s allies in the region uncontrollable….”

He added, “With facing such deep beliefs, we Europeans unfortunately have not reflected  a proper image of national and regional authority of Iran to our addressees so far and we have always tried to paint a negative picture of Iran based on our ideology…  Yemen’s drone and missile attacks on the biggest refinery in the world, Aramco, in Saudi Arabia has a clear message to all, it means if Iran is attacked, its allies would set the region afire… These surprising attacks not only defeated the U.S. and Saudi Arabia’s policies, but also discredited all European and American-made weapons.”

President Rouhani’s government should be pride of such remarks on Iran; and as he acted wisely in his UNGA speech, he should act against French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Boris Jonson and deride the 15billion-dollar credit line in the INSTEX which is said to replace the FATF.Sanctions a Tool for Meeting With Trump

Today Iranians have been experiencing challenges to reconstruct their economy without dependence on the forex and if the government’s resistance allows, this success will be added to other victories of 40 years of the Islamic Revolution, provided that the nation to be vigilant on probable sabotages of opponents and insiders in any layer of the country, as they are busy to carry out their plots,  and people should focus on economic independence as the national target.Sanctions a Tool for Meeting With Trump
