Meeting for Solving Water Supply for ESC Held
TEHRAN – A meeting was held to study way for supplying water for Esfahan Steel Company through wastewater resulted from the suburb villages.

According to reports, Representative of Flavarjan to Majlis Hojjatoleslam Seyed Naser Mousavi Largani, the CEO of Isfahan Water and Wastewater Company Eng. Hashem Amini and the CEO of Esfahan Steel Company Eng. Mansour Yazdizadeh and some of officials of these two companies were present in the meeting and reviewed the way for supplying water from suburb villages’ wastewater.

During the meeting, the ESC agreed to buy wastewater of those villages and it was decided soon the agreement is signed between ESC and Isfahan Water and Wastewater Company.

In the meeting, Hojjatoleslam Mousavi said that ESC is one of the biggest and most influential companies in the country which plays a great role in national economy and its production capacity should not been left idle.

He added that increasing the production and retaining that level in the current condition in the region is facing with water shortagey, adding that according to the approved law, industries like ESC should provide their needed water through wastewater from the suburb towns and villages in the next five years, and the meeting was held to tackle the issue.

Meanwhile Mr. Yazdizadeh said that the meeting had good results regarding planning for the sustainable water supply for ESC and national steel industry.

He added that according to agreement in the meeting, Isfahan Water and Wastewater Company was assigned to provide the company with wastewater of the suburb villages and such an act would help an important industry like ECO continue its activities with no concern and with certainty and it is a long term strategy for protecting the national steel industry.

Yazdizadeh also hailed representatives of Isfahan Province to Majlis as well as the CEO of Water and Wastewater of the province for their support efficient consumption of water.
