Why Is Erdogan the Replica of Saddam?

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s behaviors during the past four years and even with conducting sham coup d’etat to eliminate his opponents have created grounds for emerging beliefs in the people of the world especially in the West Asia that he is after revival of Ottoman Empire with the modern mechanisms that if he has naively craved for revival of the Ottoman Empire as a modus operandi for his survival in power, and theatrically and sympathetically showing support to the regional states, one should analyze him in this deep, unsustainable and unbelievable hallucinatory context because this illusion was so that he has made his exhibitive guards wear dressings of different nationalities in order to show that he intends coexistence with the countries once Britain had chopped them into small pieces from Ottoman Empire and has appointed its agents in power in those countries.

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

However with what is said, does anybody accept, for instance, him to be concerned about the territorial integrity of Republic of Azerbaijan while he himself has occupied some parts of Iraq and Syria’s territories and adventures in Libya? If we believe the West Asia region is at risk of “Christian Zionism”, then we should see what relation Erdogan’s stances in the recent years has had with this link (UK, U.S. and Israel). From another angle, is it believable a government to claim of forming an empire while it itself has turned into the military colony of the U.S. and the NATO?

Turkish government for almost several decades has been begging to join European Union but each time it has been humiliated by one of the countries and recently by the EU. With these humiliations which even angered Erdogan so that in August 2016 he said, “Europe has been deceiving us for 53 years,” and before EU accepts Turkey as its member, the country has started the dream of being an empire and creating a big illusion, should not we consider him an emerging Saddam (Hussein) in the region?

Of course this point is one hundred percent correct that Europeans for decades have made Turkey as the member of its military branch (NATO) and have exploited it in favor of them and 28 European countries are not even ready to share their economic advantages with this country and the output of this approach of Europe and obedience of Turkey has been $430b of foreign debts for Turkey and it is predicted that this amount of foreign debts, through pledging some part of the country to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund that are run by the U.S. and Europe, may soon hit $465b.

Unfortunately losses in consecutive gambles instead of awakening Erdogan have pushed him towards worse gambles, exactly like the gambles he did during eight years of devastating war of Saddam Hussein with Iran and for a couple of months with Kuwait which led to destruction of him and his Baath Party. Turkey is today moving in the same direction. Let’s regard the remarks of Diyarbakır representative to Turkish Parliament. Hisyar Ozsoy is representative of city of Diyarbakr in Turkish Parliament. In one of the parliament open sessions he launched a scathing attack at Erdogan government’s foreign policy and accused him of domestic projection and conquest with the mentality of becoming an emperor.

Speaking during the parliament session for reviewing the next year budget bill, Ozsoy who is a member of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) said, “Look! What Turkey is exporting to the Middle East and the world? Soldiers, military equipment and if it does not have them, it exports thug paramilitary to Syria. It does it or as you know it dispatches paramilitary to Libya. Everybody knows it, everybody in the world. But those who say that we are in a anti-colonialism war, a little bit earlier than your claim and recently former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq and Turkey James Jeffrey in an article published in the Al-Monitor news website has said that I recommend you to read … Do you know what he says? He says ‘We need Turkey very much because we really can’t “do” the Middle East, the Caucuses or the Black Sea without Turkey. And Turkey is a natural opponent of Russia and Iran.’ “We can’t” can have a lot of meanings.”

The lawmaker adds “Jeffery says ‘We can’t take any action without Turkey in Black Sea, Middle East and the Caucasus and even it is needed we should end Syria war with the assistance of Turkey but we should not give the victory as a gift to Iran and Russia.’ He also says ‘We use Turkey’s military power in the war in Syria’ and I will not any longer go through the rest of his article. I has repeatedly in this podium said here that Turkey does not have any humanitarian and innovative foreign policy. Erdogan foreign policy is totally interventionist and where he sees vacuums, he moves to take advantage of them.”

Ozsoy continues, “Turkish foreign policy is dominated by colonial powers. It means its policies are in line with meeting the demands of colonial powers and they even tell us to do this in order that they financially support us. Look! There are some days that I have been hearing and all of you have also heard about the budget that they say there is no reason to worry about it. Turkey is a NATO member and the U.S. is gradually leaving the region and it wants Turkey to fill this gap. For days, I have been openly hearing it. These are not my words, these are what the Western powers say that Russia is present in Libya and Syria, of course in Syria, but actually Russia and Iran are both present there and ultimately we put Turkey as the NATO member against them. They say for almost 70 to 80 years Turkey has been part of Western bloc and been trying to turn into one of the NATO powers, it means it has 70 to 80 years of background from 1950 till today which is a 70-year background. Today we have reached a point that the U.S., EU and European Council all of them have reached this point to sanction us.”

This is an analysis of a Turkish parliament lawmaker who derides the claim of fight with imperialism and clandestinely accuses Turkey of being lackey of Imperialism. Exactly like Saddam was afflicted with it verbally and practically.

Reading out the poem “Araz, Araz” and actually it means “Aras, Aras (Aras River)” by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has only revealed half a percent of hidden malice of this ambitious Freemason that has got so bad that even Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif responded to Erdogan’s remarks by saying, “No one can talk about our beloved Azerbaijan.”

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

The esteemed readers remember that during the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict over Karabakh, I wrote an article with the title of “Atheist or Hypocrisy, Which One Should We Side With?” In that article that I wrote on October 7, I explained the reason why Erdogan was supporting Azerbaijan Republic in war with Armenia that this malicious man thinks more of Turkish Empire rather than merely thinking of the support of Azerbaijan. But interests definitely required that we put Armenia under pressure in order that Erdogan’s intentions are materialized by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev. In that article I had written

“Have anyone thought that Turkey in supporting Republic of Azerbaijan’s invasion at Armenia is pursuing some part of its scenario on Neo-Ottomanization? That Nagorno-Karabakh dispute has very dimensions and multi-dimensions like inland, outland, regional and even international roots and for this reason all regional and international actors are involved in this dispute, ”and in justifying Turkey’s behavior in the very article I had written, “Suppose that we have not had and do not have any peaceful relation with Armenia which is a non-Islamic country and we call them atheist but how can we not see the goals of Turkey behind this dispute? Turkey’s interest for active presence in the Caucasus region and cooperation and proximity with Azerbaijan can be analyzed as the hegemonic goals and its major goals can be enumerated clearly. First Turkey with supporting Azerbaijan has a strategic approach to the Caucasus Region for creating a strategic balance for competition with regional actors like Russia and Iran and attaches a special attention to extending its joint border with Iran. Secondly, economic goals of Turkey in the Caucasus Region for providing its energy through developing and expanding the oil pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan), and cooperation with Azerbaijan has a far-sighted process and it is part of its Neo-Ottomanization strategy in the region. Thirdly, Turkey’s motivation for entering the South Caucasus Region is accompanied with a nationalism and ideological approach. Turkish language, religion and common religion have made Turkey’s President Erdogan have a special view blended support from Azerbaijan in the Karabakh issue. Now it is quite clear some of expenditures which are spent by Pan-Turkism in Iran are financed through which avenues. Smartly one should notice that the dominant condition on Caucasus region is in a way that countries which struggling with crises like Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have to rely on regional and trans-regional powers and actors for pursuing their goals and relation because of their incapability in managing the crisis and settling the disputes. So the success of Turkey in this region will not ever be to the benefit of the region.”

“The reason that Turkey does not intend to convince Azerbaijan to accept Iran’s mediation as the sheikh (leader and elder) of the region lies in this issue that the unconstructive role of international actors like the OSCE Minsk Group (the U.S., Russia and France) is very calculated and bold for settling the dispute due to their differences over their interests, and continuity of the dispute and above all success of Azerbaijan will never be to the benefit of a sustainable peace in this geography.”

Now with recent Erdogan’s remarks, it is crystal clear that the Western-Arab-Hebrew current is seeking fracas in the region and goes ahead with an intention of secession in Iran and I have had no doubt and you should also have no doubt that Erdogan has smelt scent of kabab (barbecue) but he does not know it was the smell of branding the donkey.

Good behavior of President Hassan Rouhani’s government with Erdogan in the past can witness its harmony or its inexperience, and the risk lies here when enemies are planning to dictate their secessionist policies, these Erdogan’s remarks are the telltale sign of a plot which has been disclosed through his mouth.

We should know that the danger of Erdogan of today is more than of Saddam Hussein because Saddam had no fraternization with the domestic current, and even the terrorist grouplet MKO members on the orders of London in 1979 turned to Saddam but Erdogan has had a weapon with the tool of Turkish language, so called pan-Turkism, and also finding friend in the process of coexistence with Iran government. Of course, I merely warn and do not intend to accuse anyone in the country.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Syrian President Bashar Assad slammed his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan for instigating the ongoing war between Armenian and Azeri forces by sending Takfiri militants to the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.

In an interview with Russia’s Sputnik news agency, Assad also said militants from Syria were being deployed to the conflict area, the Middle East Monitor reported.

“He (Erdogan) … was the main instigator and the initiator of the recent conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” Assad said. “Damascus can confirm this.”

“They used the same method in Libya; they used Syrian terrorists in Libya, maybe with other nationalities. So, it’s self-evident and very probable that they are using that method in Nagorno-Karabakh because as I said earlier, they are the ones who started this problem, this conflict; they encouraged this conflict. They want to achieve something and they’re going to use the same method,” the Syrian president added.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on October 3 that at least 64 Turkish-backed Syrian militants had been killed in clashes between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces over Nagorno-Karabakh region.

The Britain-based war monitor said they were among the 1,200 combatants from pro-Ankara Takfiri groups that Turkey has sent to fight on the Azerbaijani side.

At least 36 of them have been killed in clashes in the past 48 hours alone, the Observatory added, increasing a previous toll of 28 to 64.

Late last month, British daily newspaper The Guardian, citing three men living in the last militant-controlled corner of northern Syria, reported that Takfiris had signed up to work for a private Turkish security company as border guards in Azerbaijan.

They added that the militants expected to travel over the border to Turkey before being flown to Azerbaijan.

Reuters news agency, citing the account of two unnamed Syrian militants, also reported on September 28 that they were deploying to Azerbaijan to fight in the ongoing clashes with Armenian forces in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Armenia’s Ambassador to Moscow Vardan Toghanyan likewise said last month that Turkey had sent around 4,000 Syrian militants who were active on the Azerbaijani side in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Azerbaijan has strongly denied claims that any Syrian militants were among its ranks.

Tehran, Ankara Mull Over Ways of Targeting $30b Trade

IRAN NEWS ECONOMIC DESK

TEHRAN – Head of Iranian President’s Office for Communications said that the two countries of Iran and Turkey mulled over ways of targeting to reach $30 billion worth of bilateral trade.

On the sidelines of the meeting held between Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday through video conference, the two countries explored avenues for reaching $30 billion bilateral trade.

In his twitter account on Tuesday, Alireza Moezzi wrote, “The Sixth Meeting of Supreme Council of Strategic Relations between Iran and Turkey was held in Tehran on Tue. through video conference in the presence of Iranian and Turkish presidents and eight ministers of the two countries.”

Ways of targeting $30 billion worth of trade in bilateral trade, which had been agreed in the previous meeting of the two presidents, also was examined, he underlined.

Expansion of cooperation in the fields of energy, transport and tourism were of the issues of mutual concerns agreed between Iranian and Turkish presidents in this meeting, Moezzi added.

Regional issues such as spread of peace and stability in Syria, continuation of Astana Peace Process and operationalization of its agreements were also discussed between the two countries.

According to Moezzi, issue of Palestine and treacherous behavior of some regional countries in normalization of ties with Israel and undermining the Islamic world were the other issues taken into consideration in this meeting.

Chief of Staff of the President of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi said Tehran and Ankara are going to develop their cooperation in a wide range of business sectors, especially banking, as soon as possible.

He said the economic ties between the two countries are of great volume and very good documents have been signed; therefore, it is needed that Tehran and Ankara develop their relations in the banking sector as soon as possible.

He further added that the governors of the central banks of the two countries have highlighted this matter while President Rouhani and President Erdogan have also discussed using national currencies in trade and business.

Vaezi went on to say that expansion of the trade ties was discussed during the Sixth Meeting of the High Level Cooperation Council between Iran and Turkey.

“It is decided that the two countries give priority to purchasing each other’s domestic products. It was also decided that Iran and Turkey talk about bartering goods.”

Chief of Staff of Iran’s President said energy was another issue discussed by the two sides.

Moreover, he said the sides have exchanged views on export of natural gas and petrochemical products.

“A committee will be formed to follow up on these issues. We talked about cooperation in the electricity field as well. About the preferential trade agreement, we decided to show more flexibility to work on 60 kind of goods on both sides,” reiterated Vaezi.

According to him, another issue on the agenda during the meeting was close customs cooperation between Iran and Turkey.

“We talked about using electronic systems to speed up the procedures at customs,” he added.

He noted that joint investment was another issue on the agenda.

“We discussed he formation of a joint committee to support Iranian and Turkish companies and mutual investments. We weighed in on rail and road transportation and transit. On the other hand, we reached good agreements on cooperation at borders as well as increasing the number of trucks,” underlined Vaezi.

Putin, Erdogan Announce Ceasefire in Idlib after Meeting

According To Iran News, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have announced a military ceasefire in Idlib, after a six-hour meeting in Moscow on Thursday.

The announcement that took effect from midnight on Friday will end weeks of heavy fighting that sparked a humanitarian disaster and raised fears of their armies clashing, MoscowTimes reported.

The agreement will also create a security corridor along the key M4 highway in northern Syria, where Turkish and Russian forces will launch joint patrols from March 15.

The deal aims to put a stop to intense fighting in Idlib, the northwestern province of Syria where Ankara is battling Moscow-backed government forces.

Nearly a million of civilians have fled their homes due to the violence.

Putin told a joint press conference after the talks that the agreement would “serve as a good basis for ending fighting” in Idlib and for “stopping the suffering of the civilian population”.

“The object is to avoid the humanitarian crisis getting worse,” Erdogan said, though he added that Turkey reserved the right to “retaliate with all its strength against any attack” by Damascus.

The situation in Idlib, the last militant stronghold in Syria’s nine-year civil war, had become critical as Ankara for the first time launched a direct offensive against President Bashar al-Assad’s forces.

Turkey has long backed certain militant groups against Assad forces but its priority now is to stop an influx of refugees among those fleeing an offensive the Syrian government has been pressing on terror cells in Idlib since December.

Ankara has demanded the European Union support its actions in Syria and last week opened its border with Greece to migrants — a move decried by some in the bloc as “blackmail”.

Despite supporting opposing sides in the war, Russia and Turkey have worked to try to resolve the conflict and avoid direct confrontation.

The two countries agreed a deal in the southern Russian city of Sochi in 2018 that created a “de-escalation” zone in Idlib and allowed for the deployment of 12 Turkish observation posts.

In the run-up to Thursday’s talks, the two sides had traded accusations of violating the deal.

Ankara said Russia was not fulfilling part of the agreement that guaranteed no attacks on Idlib and the status quo on the ground.

Moscow in turn said Turkey was breaching the agreement by supporting “illegal armed groups” and accused Turkish forces of mingling with “terrorists” in Idlib.

Turkey officially declared an operation against the Assad government over the weekend, after 34 Turkish soldiers died in an air strike blamed on Damascus.

It has since downed three Syrian warplanes and killed dozens of soldiers and allied fighters, according to monitors. Fighting continued in the province on Thursday.

Erdogan warned Europe on Wednesday that it must support Turkey’s “political and humanitarian solutions in Syria” if it wants to avoid a repeat of the 2015 migration crisis.

Thousands of migrants have massed at the Turkish-Greek border since Erdogan gave them the green light to try to enter Europe, leading to clashes with Greek police.

Turkey hosts roughly 3.6 million refugees from Syria — and hundreds of thousands from elsewhere — and Erdogan’s move has sparked concern in Europe of a renewed influx of migrants.

Rouhani hold phone talks with Turkish , Russian counterparts on Idlib issue

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani held phone conversations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russian President Vladimir Putin over the latest development in Syria’s Idlib.

“The issue of Idlib is very complicated given the community of dangerous terrorists and the protection of the lives of innocent people living in the area, which on the one hand must protect human lives and on the other, the terrorists must be eradicated,” said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday.

Referring to the special importance of the trilateral cooperation of Iran, Turkey and Russia to resolve the Syrian problem in order to strengthen the Astana process, Rouhani noted, “Trilateral cooperation at various levels is of particular importance, and as previously mentioned, Iran is ready to host the next round of this trilateral summit.”

“Certainly, increasing the tension is not in the interest of anyone in the region, and we must resolve the issues through dialogue and should not allow the Astana process to weaken,” he added.

He also suggested holding trilateral summit of Iran, Turkey and Syria to resolve Idlib issue, saying, “We can resolve differences at this meeting, given our agreement on principles such as preserving Syria’s territorial integrity, eradicating terrorists, preserving the lives of innocent people, and quickly resolving the issue of Idlib.”

After his conversation with Turkish President on Saturday evening, Rouhani also held phone talks with Vladimir Putin.

No further details about the talk have been yet revealed by the official website of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Turkey Will Never Reach Aleppo

Turkish government takes some actions with an idea of reviving Ottoman Emperor in its mind that it is neither in its current political size nor it matches a structure in a government in line with policies of unity in the Islamic countries.

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

That Turkish Army by hiring proxy forces in northern areas of Syria launches operation, dubbed Operation Euphrates Shield, against Syrian Army’s positions in the south of occupied town of al-Bab is placed in no framework of peace-seeking in the West Asia region, let alone that the country considers itself as a member of the OIC states.

An evidence to this hostile action with so-called unity-seeking slogan in the Muslim world is that the first pictures from this region show that terrorists occupied a military base in Shaala in suburb of city of Tadef where Russian and Syrian troops’ had checkpoints.

It seems the unfair offensive was conducted in the wake of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s last week threats which came after Syrian Army’s significant advance in Idlib Province. Turkish President in his speech had urged Russian officials to immediately stop Syrian Army’s operation in order to save its under-shelter multi-national terrorists of Tahrir al-Sham and Al-Nusra Front groups.

The terrorists, supported by the West, namely the U.S., Europe and Turkey, have claimed their imaginary operation goal is to take the city of Idlib. It happens while over the past three years and after the end of Operation Euphrates Shield in the region and the pullout of Daesh forces from town of al-Bab, there had been no major confrontation there. Actually Syrian Army troops had been deployed in the city of Tadef in south of town of al-Bab and in the buffer zone between warring forces and they had never breached the agreements or attacked at Turkey’s under-sheltered forces.

Regarding recent outstanding successes of Syrian Army in liberating the strategic town and region of Saraqib in south of Aleppo, it seems probably we would face a crushing response from Syrian Army and Russian Air force against this vivid breach by the Turkish and West supported grouplets.

Influence and domination of Western countries in the United Nations Security Council encouraged the UNSC to draft a resolution against recent Syrian Army’s achievements and Syrian Ambassador to the UN Bashar Jaafari had a good and rational response to the UNSC double-standard approach.

The UNSC had called for Syria’s immediate ceasefire and halt to operation but Jaafari with a wise response questioned the UNSC decision by saying a ceasefire against the grouplets which have been designated by the UNSC as terrorists is meaningless.

That Turkey and the West with the Zionist regime’s support do not want conflicts in Syria to end is an issue which depends on the expansionist policies of Zionists and that Turkey fan the flames of these policies is surprising and it is a warning to Erdogan government.

Syria should become a safe and peaceful country and Iran and Russia will support this auspicious process. Turkey should also know that Aleppo will never fall to Turkey.

Turkey’s Erdogan Blasts Saudi Support for Trump’s Palestine Deal as ‘Treason’

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday blasted several Arab countries including Saudi Arabia for backing the US President Donal Trump’s so-called deal of century, condemning it as ‘treason.’

‘Some Arab countries that support such a plan commit treason against Jerusalem (al-Quds), as well as against their own people, and more importantly against all humanity,’ Erdogan told his party’s provincial heads in Ankara.

Erdogan, a strong advocate of Palestinian rights, singled out Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Oman, DailyMail reported.

‘Saudi Arabia in particular, you are silent. When will you break your silence? You look at Oman, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi is the same,’ said the Turkish president.

‘Shame on you! Shame on you! How will those hands that applaud (the plan) give an account of this treacherous step?’

Turkey’s relations with Riyadh and Abu Dhabi deteriorated after the 2018 murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul on the order of the Saudi leadership.

On the conflict that engulfs Libya, Turkey supports the UN-recognized government in Tripoli while Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates back eastern commander Khalifa Haftar, who controls three-quarters of Libyan territory.

‘Jerusalem (al-Quds) cannot be left to the bloody claw of Israel,’ he added.

Erdogan warned that everyone would be responsible for ‘grave consequences’ of any step that encourages Israel, which he called a ‘rogue state’ and a ‘terror state.’

The Turkish leader also said he would speak with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

Today’s comments come a day after the top foreign policy adviser to Iran’s Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei coined the deal a continuation of the objectives of ‘crusaders and Zionists.’

Ali Akbar Velayati said the so-called deal of the century would involve the ‘selling and dismantling Muslim lands’.

On Tuesday night, Iran’s foreign ministry called Trump’s plan the ‘Deveal (devil+deal)’, which is descended to sow everlasting hatred and violence in West Asia.

Demonstrations were held in both Istanbul and Gaza this week, with communities coming out to condemn the plan.

The plan released on Tuesday was seen as heavily biased towards Israel and was angrily rejected by Palestinians, with one of the key bones of contention being its classification of Jerusalem (al-Quds) as Israel’s ‘undivided capital.’

Palestinians have long seen the city, which was occupied by Israel in 1967, as their capital.

Palestinians at the Al-Aqsa compound in Jerusalem (al-Quds) held rallies and protests after dawn prayers, which was met with heavy response by Israeli police.

Thousands of Palestinians attended the Friday prayers at noon to take part at the demonstrations.

Clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli forces in the West Bank have left at least 30 Palestinians wounded since Tuesday.

The Al-Aqsa mosque is one of Islam’s holy sites.

The Trump plan gives Israel the green light to annex the strategic Jordan Valley, which constitutes some 30 percent of the West Bank, as well as all Israeli settlements, which now number more than 200, including those in annexed east Jerusalem (East al-Quds).

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday issued a veiled threat suggesting Turkey could free the ISIS prisoners it holds and sends them to Europe, due to anger at an EU decision to slap sanctions on Ankara over its drilling for natural gas in Mediterranean waters off Cyprus.

Speaking to reporters before a visit to the United States, Erdogan also said Turkey would continue repatriating foreign ISIS terrorists to their home countries, even if those countries decline to take them back, Iran News quotes what AP reported.

“You should revise your stance toward Turkey, which at the moment holds so many Daesh members in prison and at the same time controls those in Syria,” Erdogan warned European nations, a day after the EU unveiled a system to sanction Turkey.

He added, “These gates will open and these free ISIS prisoners who have started to be sent to you will continue to be sent. Then you can take care of your own problem.”

Erdogan’s comments came as Turkey launched a new push to send back captured foreign terrorists to their home countries, telling Western nations that Turkey was not a “hotel” for ISIS members and criticizing them for their reluctance to take back citizens who had joined the ranks of the terror group as it sought to establish a “caliphate” in Iraq and Syria.

Turkey deported citizens of the United States, Denmark, and Germany on Monday and announced plans to soon expel seven other German nationals, two Irish and 11 French nationals.

Turkey said last week that about 1,200 ISIS terrorists were in Turkish prisons and 287 Daesh members, including women and children, were captured during Turkey’s offensive in Syria, launched last month.

The latest spat with the EU is over exploration for gas around EU member Cyprus. Turkish drillships, escorted by warships, began exploratory drilling this summer in waters where Cyprus says it has exclusive economic rights. Turkey says it is protecting its rights and those of Turkish Cypriots on the divided island.

EU foreign ministers adopted a mechanism making it possible “to sanction individuals or entities responsible for, or involved in, unauthorized drilling activities of hydrocarbons.” EU member countries can now come forward with the names of those they think should be listed.

While Turkey has quietly deported ISIS sympathizers for years, it raised the issue more forcefully after Western nations refused to back its offensive against Syrian Kurdish forces whom Ankara considers to be terrorists linked to Kurdish militants fighting inside Turkey. Many countries have voiced concerns that the Turkish invasion would lead to a resurgence of ISIS.

Turkish news reports said Monday that a US citizen who had been deported by Turkey was stuck in a heavily militarized no man’s land between Greece and Turkey after Greece refused to take him in.

Asked to comment on the reports, Erdogan said, “Whether they are stuck there at the border it doesn’t concern us. We will continue to send them. Whether they take them or not, it is not our concern.”

President Erdogan: I Kill and You Do Applaud

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is upset about some voices in Iran. He complains his Iranian counterpart President Hassan Rouhani for failing to silence the raucous voices in Iran. Exclamation mark does not by itself suffice Erdogan’s statement. He uses world “must” for Iranian president just for silencing those voices raised against Turkey and its attacks against Syrian Kurd’s positions.

It is not Iranian media’s job but it is the job of someone in Erdogan’s level to respond his insulting remarks. Someone in Iran’s government should remind Turkish President that here is Iran, and media are free to criticize and they even criticize the president, and a foreign president has his or her own place.

Someone in Iran should remind Mr. Erdogan that here is not Turkey where he could imprison thousands of his opponents and critics; here is not Turkey where he launched a fake coup in order to suppress his critics and opponents. Here is Iran whose president with his famous remark “I turn to God over shutting the mouths of critics” won the vote in the election.

One should remind Mr. Erdogan that whoever it is, and whatever he knows his decision over attack on PKK position in Syria is correct, he is only Turkey’s president and he is not in a position to tell over 83m Iranians what to do and not to do in order to agree or disagree his decisions and he is not allowed to use emphatic words like “must” for Iranian President just for silencing Iranians who oppose the massacre of civilians, women and children.

If Iranian statesmen stand on ceremony because of their compromising passiveness or political current stand, and they are unable to respond to Erdogan’s insulting remark, they are better not ask for their media’s silence or at least they should let the media remind Turkish president that they should talk about Iran, Iranians and Iranian officials in a decent way.

Although we do not support some stands and approaches of the Kurd people and we still remember some treasons of their leaders’ and we know that some wrong and unwise decisions of Kurd leaders in trusting the U.S. and creating a front to stand against Iran, Russia and Syrian government as well as their terrorist approach for getting independence, had nothing but war and displacement; and in the era that the world seems to have no concern about Kurds, we believe Kurds do not deserve punishment like displacement of thousands of their women and children in such a war.

Amid such ingratitude of Kurds, we will never forget Erdogan’s treasons, either. We still remember who was purchasing Iraq’s oil from Daesh forces; we have not yet forgotten who was talking arrogantly that he wants to pray his saying at Umayyad Mosque of Damascus. We have not forgotten that when our youths were fighting with Daesh forces and were being martyred, who supported takfiri terrorists logistically.

We know the PKK’s treason but we are not strange with Erdogan’s treasons, either. Syria war and occupation of Iraq by Daesh forces do not date back to a long time ago that we could have forgotten them. So it is better everybody speaks according to its weight and height. Both Kurds, when they are to talk about Iran, should not forget how Iran saved them from Daesh forces in Erbil and Mosul, and also Erdogan, when he speaks about Iran, should not forget Iran’s support during the 2016 sham coup d’etat as well as during the early days of Turkey’s war with Syria. Of course Turkey was one of the penitents and Iran and Russia accepted its repentance and now it is better it forgets claim of leadership.

Iranians in any condition, even being critical of their own president, will not stand any insult like “must” to their president.

Today Americans, who have been lord of Turkey and Erdogan for years are trying to soften their rhetoric and literature, in other words, are moving towards apology from Iranians. So it can be a lesson for Turkey or any other one who learns from the past to take care of their languages.
