Iran’s semi-finished steel exports during past fiscal year (ended on March 20) stood at 4.899 million tons, according to Iranian Steel Producers Association’s (ISPA) latest report.

Chairman of Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) Bahram Sobhani said on Saturday that the country has not any problem in the field of exporting of steel.

Over 300,000 tons of goods worth nearly $300 million were exported through Fars Province Customs last year, showing a 50 percent increase in terms of weight compared to the previous corresponding year.

In its latest report, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) announced that export of various types of date registered a 53 percent growth in 10-month period of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 – Jan. 21) as compared to the last year’s corresponding period.
