US must make up for wrong policies against Iran

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Speaking at the cabinet session on Wednesday, Rouhani said, “Today I want to thank the people of Iran for their three-year resistance to the economic war.”

“One of the great manifestations of the victory of the Iranian nation and the inevitable defeat of the enemy in this economic war is the end of the Trumpism era,” he added.

Rouhani continued, “The failure of this man was due to his failure in international forums and legal authorities because of the moral standards in the world public opinion and finally in the public opinion of the American people.”

“He increased inhuman and brutal sanctions and pressure against Iranian people every day,” he said, adding, “The reasons for his failure were wrong foreign policies, wrong health policies and his racist and unreliable actions for everyone.”

“The future administration of the United States must do great things and be able to compensate for all the actions that tarnished the image of the United States,” Rouhani said.

He added, “We hope that the next US administration will explicitly condemn Trump’s policies toward Iran in the first instance.”

“It should explicitly condemn anti-human rights and terrorist acts and compensate for the wrong policies pursued by the previous government over the past four years,” the Iranian President highlighted.

“The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as we have repeatedly emphasized, is commitment for commitment, action for action, reduction of tension for reduction of tension, respect for respect, international obligations for international obligations,” he added.

Rouhani noted, “If there is such a will in the future rulers of the United States, I think it will be very easy to solve the problem.”

“Iran and the United States can both decide and announce that they will return to the terms of January 20, 2017. This can be a great solution to many problems and can completely change the course and the situation.”

TEHRAN (Iran News) – In a message congratulating the anniversary of the independence of the Lebanese Republic, Iranian President emphasized, “The Islamic Republic of Iran, as in the past, stands by the Lebanese government and strong people and is ready to develop bilateral cooperation in all fields”.

President of the Lebanese Republic,

I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency and the noble people of your country on the anniversary of the independence of the Lebanese Republic.

Lebanon went through difficult days last year, but standing up and resisting under the guidance of intelligent leaders made Lebanon proud and showed the world that the path to Lebanon’s dignity, independence and prosperity during Your Excellency’s presidency is lasting and will continue with the sympathy and support of various political groups.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, as in the past, stands by the Lebanese government and strong people and is ready to develop bilateral cooperation in all fields.

Rouhani advises Biden’s admin. to restore US tarnished image

TEHRAN (Iran News) – President Hassan Rouhani in his Tuesday remarks, addressing the Government Economic Coordination Headquarters, noted that the new US administration must, more than anything else, reconsider the US’ inhumane behavior with other nations in order to restore its tarnished image in the international community.

In this meeting, the Iranian foreign ministry and the Central Bank of Iran agreed to enhance cooperation on having Iran’s frozen assets in foreign banks.

The US enmity towards the Islamic Republic of Iran has been so high that it started a full-fledged economic war against the Iranian nation.

Trump’s enmity and hostility towards the Iranian nation were unprecedented which had been formed under the influence of Zionists, Saudis, and extremist groups in the United States.

The collapse of the Establishment in the Islamic Republic of Iran and crippling economy of the country was the main objective of the US government under Trump.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran’s President expressed his condolences to the Turkish government and people for the loss and injury of a number of Turkish people in the devastating earthquake in Izmir Province, and the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to send any kind of relief and medical aid to the people of earthquake-stricken areas.

The text of President Hassan Rouhani’s message to the President of Turkey is as follows:

Your Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan,

Honorable President of Turkey

The occurrence of a devastating earthquake in Izmir province and the loss and injury of some of the dear people of that country, caused great grief and sorrow.

On behalf of the government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I offer my condolences to His Excellency and the friendly and brotherly people of Turkey, and I ask the Almighty patience for the bereaved families and swift recovery to the injured.

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran declares its readiness to send any kind of relief and medical aid and assistance to the people of the earthquake-stricken areas and hopes to see the return of safe conditions in the affected areas as soon as possible.

Rouhani: Enemy’s Plots against Iran Failing

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said all hostile plots against the Iranian nation have ended in failure under strong resistance, adding that his administration has handled the economy despite a $50 billion drop in incomes caused by the US sanctions.

Addressing a cabinet session on Wednesday, Rouhani said the enemy had formulated plots to bring the nation of Iran to its knees with a massive wave of sanctions and economic pressures.

The Iranian nation’s resistance and reliance on the culture of Ashura inflicted successive defeats on the enemy, he said.

The president further reminded the critics that his administration has managed to run the economy with a $50 billion reduction in the earnings after the unprecedented US sanctions were imposed in 2018.

Those leveling unfair criticism at the administration should know that the situation of markets and commodities in Iran is better than in Europe although the country’s income dropped by 9,000 trillion rials, Rouhani said.

He added that the great resistance has forced the US to suffer successive political defeats at the UN Security Council.

Iranians have never given in to the adversaries despite all pressures and difficulties, the president stated.

Rouhani further highlighted Iran’s success in managing the situation after the outbreak of the coronavirus, saying the Islamic Republic did not face any problem in providing hospital beds and intensive care services while some major countries in the world ran into serious troubles.

In comments on Sunday, Rouhani said while the coronavirus pandemic has slashed major economies in the world by up to 20 percent, Iran’s economy has contracted only by 3 percent.

Rouhani has repeatedly said that his administration is engaged in a battle on two fronts at the same time, dealing with the cruel foreign sanctions and addressing the coronavirus and its economic consequences.

The president said in June that the main priority in the administration’s economic plans is to control prices and supply the basic means of life.
