TEHRAN (Iran News) – Speaking at the cabinet session on Wednesday, Rouhani said, “Today I want to thank the people of Iran for their three-year resistance to the economic war.”
“One of the great manifestations of the victory of the Iranian nation and the inevitable defeat of the enemy in this economic war is the end of the Trumpism era,” he added.
Rouhani continued, “The failure of this man was due to his failure in international forums and legal authorities because of the moral standards in the world public opinion and finally in the public opinion of the American people.”
“He increased inhuman and brutal sanctions and pressure against Iranian people every day,” he said, adding, “The reasons for his failure were wrong foreign policies, wrong health policies and his racist and unreliable actions for everyone.”
“The future administration of the United States must do great things and be able to compensate for all the actions that tarnished the image of the United States,” Rouhani said.
He added, “We hope that the next US administration will explicitly condemn Trump’s policies toward Iran in the first instance.”
“It should explicitly condemn anti-human rights and terrorist acts and compensate for the wrong policies pursued by the previous government over the past four years,” the Iranian President highlighted.
“The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as we have repeatedly emphasized, is commitment for commitment, action for action, reduction of tension for reduction of tension, respect for respect, international obligations for international obligations,” he added.
Rouhani noted, “If there is such a will in the future rulers of the United States, I think it will be very easy to solve the problem.”
“Iran and the United States can both decide and announce that they will return to the terms of January 20, 2017. This can be a great solution to many problems and can completely change the course and the situation.”
“Then the next steps can be continued in different sections, but the main node can be opened with one will and one decision,” he stressed.
