The Iranian minister of health said he has good news about a vaccine being developed in the country for the coronavirus disease.
Iranian Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that the number of coronavirus cases has hit 99,970 in Iran, while 6,340 ones have lost their lives due to the disease.
Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Kianoosh Jahanpoor said on Friday that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 68,192.
Dr. Alireza Zali, who is in charge of Tehran's Coronavirus Combat Headquarters, praised the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps for opening a 500-bed mobile hospital in the capital amid the country’s ongoing fight against the virus pandemic.
