He further said that by reforming LF (ladle furnace) and convertors, steel production of the company will reach 3.6m.

He noted that merge of sale and purchase departments and launching commercial department for easing relation with providers and other the process had good results.

Yazdizadeh added that ESCO, once played key role in exploration and launching mines, has problem in providing its iron ore.

He added that good interactions with the psuppliers have eased concerns for fixing the price of coal.

Meanwhile head of commercial department of the company Dr. Nematollah Mohseni hailed the trade partners of the company who were present in the meeting and expressed hope results of such meetings would reveal soon.

He added that ESCO is now in touch with more than 15000suppliers of raw materials, spare part and equipment.

He added that suppliers have had good cooperation with the company despite cruel sanctions and its result was good records which were set by the company. He added that one of its result was production of 244,000 tons of cast iron last month.

He then pointed to the achievements of the company last year like winning the exemplary exporter of the year award, exporting more than 50 percent of its products to more than 20 countries as well as implementing project for cutting water consumption and pollution.

Mohseni reiterated that trade partners of the company play key role in the achievements of the organization and called them as arms of the company.

He went on to say that in the raw steel sector, there are good capacities which need a balanced trend in the chain which begins from concentrate.

Yazdizadeh reiterated that those mines which have been discovered should come on stream, adding that some of them need investments. He expressed hope that due to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO)’s approach for developing mines especially in iron ore, everything would become balanced and the annual production reach 55m tons.

He noted that the country has witnessed good progress in the steel industry, adding that while the country was an importer of steel until a couple of years ago, now Iran has become an exporter. He went on to say that Iran is now taken into consideration in the global equations and it is because of its development in its steel industry and it is just because steel has turned into an export item.

Yazdizadeh noted that exports of steel are on the rise and the volume of steel products in this year has become even better comparing  to last year.

He added that national steel industry has become an export-oriented industry and existence of the industry depends on exports.

Yazdizadeh further said that the company exported around 8m tons of steel last year, expressing hope that the figure would exceed 10m tons this year.

He reiterated that if the exporters are supported, the growth in the exports will continue and the country can reach its target for the industry which has been set in the 2020 outlook.

During the meeting, the ESC agreed to buy wastewater of those villages and it was decided soon the agreement is signed between ESC and Isfahan Water and Wastewater Company.

In the meeting, Hojjatoleslam Mousavi said that ESC is one of the biggest and most influential companies in the country which plays a great role in national economy and its production capacity should not been left idle.

He added that increasing the production and retaining that level in the current condition in the region is facing with water shortagey, adding that according to the approved law, industries like ESC should provide their needed water through wastewater from the suburb towns and villages in the next five years, and the meeting was held to tackle the issue.

Meanwhile Mr. Yazdizadeh said that the meeting had good results regarding planning for the sustainable water supply for ESC and national steel industry.

He added that according to agreement in the meeting, Isfahan Water and Wastewater Company was assigned to provide the company with wastewater of the suburb villages and such an act would help an important industry like ECO continue its activities with no concern and with certainty and it is a long term strategy for protecting the national steel industry.

Yazdizadeh also hailed representatives of Isfahan Province to Majlis as well as the CEO of Water and Wastewater of the province for their support efficient consumption of water.
