TEHRAN (Iran News)“I strongly condemn and curse the treacherous assassination carried out in Tehran against Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh,” Erdogan stated on X.

Erdogan labeled the attack as a “despicable attempt to undermine the Palestinian Cause, the glorious resistance of Gaza, and the rightful struggle of our Palestinian brothers, aiming to demoralize, intimidate, and suppress them,” according to Anadolu.

He drew parallels between this assassination and previous attacks on Palestinian figures such as Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and Abdul Aziz al-Rantisi, asserting that “Zionist barbarism will once again fail to achieve its goals.”

Erdogan urged the Islamic world to unite in ending the oppression in Gaza and reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to supporting the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state with East Al-Quds as its capital.

He concluded with a prayer for Haniyeh, offering condolences to his family and the Palestinian people.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –Turkey’s presidential elections ended with Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s retaining his crown of kingdom with winning with only low margin of 52% of votes and it was expected him to choose Iran as his first destination for visit after his re-election but the dream of Turkestan (Turk Land) drove him to a wrong destination Baku and his remarks in Baku was a mistake worse than his visit.

Action for adopting foreign policy in the field of neighborhood after any election is very strategic and in fact it brands its signs on the forehead of the executor and it will be never cleaned up. Islamic nations today need maturity among their leaders to provide the ground for civilizing but unpleasant sound and awkward behavior creates a lasting scar on the body of the revived Islamic civilization and its healing takes long time.

The least expectation was that Erdogan to make most of new correlation between Tehran and Riyadh and to join this effective unity. He definitely knows that a new chapter in Islamic relations has been opened in the region or better to say in the world which can be reviewed based on the détente. Action for détente will not be definitely in the benefit of Muslim nations in the region because we all witnessed immediately after revelation of the détente process in the Persian Gulf, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that some disaster has happened which has ruined all calculations of Israel in the region.

Erdogan with his remarks please and hearten Netanyahu. This behavior happens in a condition that Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister visits Tehran for re-opening embassy along with officially endorsing the détente-centered foreign policy.

This visit happened while three world military powers, Biden’s U.S., Putin’s Russia and Xi’s China, are at the climax of creating tension. Ukraine’s wound is getting worse day in day and this clearly shows that with publishing of any news regarding revival of strategic and civilizing relations, the Zionist regime trembles with fear from inside.

Now Mr. Erdogan is craving for creating rift and with his visit to Baku is fanning the flame of war in Karabakh, and Azerbaijan is also unaware of Turkey’s ill intention of a united Turkestan (Turk land) and is not aware of Erdogan’s plot as he considers Azerbaijan as one of his provinces. In the current bad economic condition of Turkey, such an act can be attributed to a drunkard than a sober for taking a correct and strategic action in line with Turkish people’s interests.

Erdogan should have understood that normalization of ties between Tehran and Riyadh would be a deadly blow to the existence of the Zionist regime which still continues occupation of Palestinians’ lands and their massacre. If Erdogan had just a little history knowledge, he would know that Iran has been and will be, too, the homeland of Azeris for generations through the centuries. From his inexperienced and transient remarks and leader of Baku nothing but dirty blur will remain in the minds of nations of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iran and definitely in the future relations, it will be taken into consideration.

According to the released statistics, Iranians have invested tens of billions of dollars in Turkey and this has happened because of negligence of governments in the Islamic Revolution and with a small reaction by Iran’s Majlis, it can find the opposite direction. Recent earthquake in Turkey seems to be forgotten as Erdogan has unnoticed Iran’s humanitarian aids. This way, we do not know what to call Erdogan. Rebel? Forgetful? Fame Seeker? Or colleague of Netanyahu? That each one of those names can interpret and express some parts of Erdogan’s behavior.

The leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran seriously do not seek any tension in the West Asia and all evidences show that when in this condition the U.S. has accepted the Islamic Republic of Iran’s demands and raised the issue of releasing the frozen funds of Iran and seeking mending ties out of the JCPOA and uses the rhetoric of necessity of diplomacy, it has, undoubtedly taken into consideration the regional power of the Islamic Republic’s growing diplomacy in the region and moving in the opposite direction of the U.S. will be a deadly poison for Erdogan.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei says any military action in northern Syria will definitely harm Turkey, Syria and the entire region and will instead benefit terrorists.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a Tuesday meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is in Tehran to take part in a tripartite summit aimed at helping restore peace and stability to war-torn Syria.

Ayatollah Khamenei described as “very important” the issue of Syria’s territorial integrity.

The Leader stated that fighting terrorism is a must “but a military incursion of Syria will benefit terrorists. Of course, terrorists are not limited to a specific group.”

Referring to the Turkish president’s call for Iran’s cooperation in fighting terrorist groups, the Leader said, “We will definitely cooperate with you in the battle against terror.”

Ayatollah Khamenei added that Iran regards security in Turkey and its border areas as its own and called on Turkey to pursue a similar approach vis-à-vis its neighbor Syria.

“The Syrian issues must be settled through negotiations, and Iran, Turkey, Syria and Russia must solve this issue through dialog,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.

The Leader stressed the importance of “useful and necessary” cooperation between Iran and Turkey on all regional issues, saying, “We have always defended your government in internal issues and against [instances of] interference and as you have said, we have been each other’s friends in difficult times and we pray for the Muslim nation of Turkey.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei also pointed to the issue of Palestine and stated that the Israeli regime is one of the main forces driving a wedge among Muslim countries.

The Leader added that the U.S. and Israeli regime cannot stop the Palestinians’ deep-rooted movement.

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the U.S. and the Zionist regime should not be relied upon and said, “Today, neither the Zionist regime, nor the U.S. nor others will be able to stop the deep movement of the Palestinians, and the final result will be in the interest of the Palestinian people.”

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that maintenance of the Islamic Ummah’s dignity and honor hinges on overcoming differences and remaining vigilant against divisive policies and said the usurping Zionist regime, supported by the United States, is one of the factors that sow discord and hostility in the region.

The Leader once again reiterated that Palestine is the first and foremost issue of the Muslim world and emphasized that despite some regional governments’ “inclination” toward Israel, Muslims nations are “deeply against” the occupying regime.

Ayatollah Khamenei also said the volume and quality of economic exchanges and cooperation between Iran and Turkey are much less than the existing capacities, adding, “This issue must be settled in the talks between [the two countries’] presidents.”

The Leader also welcomed the return of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan but emphasized that the Islamic Republic would oppose any policy on closing the border between Iran and Armenia “because this border is a connection route that has existed for thousands of years.”

During the meeting, which was also attended by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the Turkish President stressed the importance of reinforcing unity among Muslim nations and promoting solidarity between Tehran and Ankara.

Erdogan said his country has never remained silent in the face of injustice against Iran and stressed the importance of bolstering bilateral relations in all fields.

Turkey has always opposed unilateral sanctions against Iran and would continue to support Tehran’s legitimate rights as per the 2015 agreement, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, he added.

The Turkish president noted that Iran and Turkey have been fighting terrorists for many years and said terrorist groups in Syria are supported by the Western countries, including Germany, Britain and particularly the U.S., who are providing them with weapons.

He said Turkey pursues a clear stance on Syria’s territorial integrity and expects the Arab country’s government to start political approaches.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, the official ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Turkey and Iran has been held in the presence of both countries’ presidents and ministers.

The ceremony of inking the agreement of joint cooperation was held at Sa’daabad Historical Palace in capital Tehran on Tuesday before President Erdogan and his Iranian counterpart President Raisi as well as some ministers from both countries.

The MoU comprises of cooperation in different fields of expansion of transit, cultural, scientific, sports, energy and agriculture exchanges as well as trade and economic interactions.

The document was signed by high-ranking delegations from Turkey and Iran in order to pave the way for expansion of cooperation in various areas.

Speaking in the joint press conference with Erdogan, Raisi said, “Undoubtedly, Mr. Erdogan’s visit to Iran is a turning point for improving the level of relations between the two countries. During the talks, the serious will of the two countries to improve the level of economic and commercial relations and other fields was discussed.”

Stating that the trade relations between Iran and Turkey are not enough and the existing capacities of the two countries should be used, he added that trade relations between the two countries can be reached $30 billion.

The cooperation between the two countries is very important in the security area, he noted, adding that the security of the borders of the two countries is very important and the cooperation of the security agencies of the two countries can play an effective role in the security of the borders.

Stating that the fight against terrorism, drugs and organized crime was one of the most important issues discussed in the meeting, Raisi said that the two sides emphasized that any form of terrorism must be fought to maintain the security of the borders.

He went on to say that the cooperation of the two countries on regional issues was also discussed by the two countries, and both countries have a special emphasis on the security of Syria.

The good relations between Iran and Turkey can lead to regional and international relations between the two countries, and both countries can play a role in the security of the region, the Iranian President said.

The Turkish President, for his part, stated, “Our goal is to reach a trade volume of $30 billion. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the volume of trade decreased significantly, and it has now reached $7 billion, therefore, I believe that with the determination of the two countries, we will be able to reach the volume of trade of $30 billion. Also, by taking steps in the field of oil and natural gas, we can speed up this matter.”

“As you know, we have taken drastic measures in the field of defense industry in recent years and we attach great importance to our solidarity in this matter,” Erdogan added.

Stating that according to the emphasis of President Raisi, the fight against terrorist organizations is of special importance for both countries, Edogan cited.

“We included them, which are a scourge for both countries, in the list of terrorist organizations of NATO, because these organizations cause disruption of stability and peace in any country where they exist, so we must deal with these terrorist organizations in full solidarity.”

TEHRAN (Iran News) – In an article published on Tuesday, Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Mohammad Farazmand said that Iran welcomes Turkey’s proposed 3+3 format to solve conflicts in the South Caucasus.

“Tehran supports the proposal of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in November 2020 to establish a regional cooperation mechanism in the South Caucasus with the participation of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia as three countries in the region and also with the presence of Turkey, Iran and Russia in the form of 3+3.”

In the article, the diplomat noted that Iran welcomed this idea with enthusiasm and made the first diplomatic move to recognize this idea at the level of foreign minister.
“In February 2021, the foreign minister went on a tour of Baku, Yerevan, Moscow, Tbilisi and Ankara, the former Iranian foreign minister stressed the importance of forming this initiative as soon as possible. Yet, except for one country, other countries have agreed in principle to this initiative.”

Farazmand continued, “The ‘3+3 format’ is exactly in line with the principles and foundations of the foreign policy of Iran which is solving the problems of the region by the regional countries, minimizing tensions and developing cooperation and creating a strong region through synergy.”

“President Raisi’s administration, by announcing that the neighbors are the foreign policy priority of Iran, has confirmed these principles and has time and again agreed to the 3+3 initiative (or 2+3 until Georgia is ready to join this group),” the diplomat wrote.

The Iranian ambassador to Turkey reminded, “It is worth mentioning that even during the war between Iran’s two northern neighbors in 2020, the then deputy foreign minister of Iran traveled to Baku and Yerevan, as well as Moscow and Ankara to make a similar proposal to establish a mechanism to control tensions in the Caucasus region and resolving disputes fairly through peaceful means to end the occupation of Azerbaijani territories and establish lasting peace.”

He further noted, “What is important is to maintain the collective will, and the continuous perseverance to bring constructive ideas to bear fruit. Fortunately, for the realization of the 3+3 or (2+3) format, there is a collective will, as well as common interests and a high mutual understanding between the interested parties.”

Undoubtedly, Farazmand noted, establishing peace and stability, ending the nearly 30-year tension in the strategic region of the South Caucasus, and creating opportunities for development, trade, investment, and transport will benefit all the nations in the region.

He also stressed that “the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a country that has good relations with all countries (party to the 3+2/3) format is very hopeful and eager to achieve this mechanism and believes that in this framework, this initiative will broaden political, security, trade, economic and transit horizons, as well as opportunities for cooperation between the nations of the region. The great advantage of this initiative is that none of the eligible parties have been left out. It is worth noting that these three neighbors of the Caucasus, namely Iran, Turkey and Russia, have already gained successful experience in reducing tensions and controlling bloodshed in Syria.”

The article comes at a time when Tehran-Baku tensions have cooled down.

Speaking at his weekly press briefing on November 22, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said tensions between Iran and Azerbaijan are “unwanted,” adding that these have been mainly stirred by the media.

He went on to say that both sides are now past these unwanted tensions.

“Good news is on the way regarding Iran-Azerbaijan,” the Foreign Ministry official added.

When asked about a possible meeting between Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and his Azeri counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, in Turkmenistan, Khatibzadeh did not rule out the possibility.

“Bilateral visits on the sidelines of the ECO summit are common, and there could be a meeting, but you should ask the President’s office about that,” the spokesman elaborated.
The 15th ECO summit is set to be held on November 28 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Khatibzadeh’s comments were made a day after Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mostafayev visited Tehran for talks with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Oil Minister, and Transport Minister.

Mostafayev’s visit was described as “remarkable and constructive,” as he had reportedly reached agreements with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

Following the visit by the Azeri Deputy Prime Minister, the two sides announced the signing of several cooperation projects, including the development of oil and gas fields in the Caspian Sea.

Tehran and Baku also agreed to expand cooperation in several transport projects, including the construction of a bridge crossing the river that separates the two countries, the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway, the completion of the terminal building in Astara by the Republic of Azerbaijan, the activation of the Nakhchivan-Mashhad passenger train, and finally the increase in freight traffic between the two countries.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – On Erdogan’s phone call with Israeli president. In a diplomatic turnabout that shocked, and in some cases disappointed, many in the region including Turkey’s allies, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with Israeli President Isaac Herzog after over a decade of Israel-bashing rhetoric from Ankara.

During the phone conversation, “President Erdogan underscored that Turkey-Israel relations were of great importance in terms of security and stability in the Middle East [West Asia], and that there was a great potential for cooperation” between Ankara and Tel Aviv “in various areas, notably energy, tourism and technology,” according to a statement put out by the Turkish presidency.

“Pointing out that the bilateral trade volume increased despite the pandemic, President Erdogan said that it was of mutual interest to benefit from that potential,” the statement continued.

Herzog’s office also issued a similar statement, saying, “The presidents emphasized in their call that the ties between Israel and Turkey are of great importance to the security and the stability of the Middle East.”

The Israeli readout also noted that Erdogan and Herzog underlined “the great importance of maintaining contact and ongoing dialogue despite the differences of opinion, with the goal of making positive steps toward a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which will also contribute to the improvement of Israeli-Turkish relations.”

The 40-minute call came against a backdrop of a renewed Turkish desire for mending ties with Israel and some other countries such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Erdogan had already spoken by phone with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz. Meanwhile, Turkish diplomats have been busy negotiating a deal to restore ties with Cairo. Turkey’s effort with regard to the restoration of ties with Egypt ended in failure given the deep mistrust between Cairo and Ankara because of the latter’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood, a group that has been at loggerheads with the Egyptian government ever since the ouster of former Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi. And the level of Ankara’s ties with Riyadh didn’t measure up to Turkish expectations.

Then Turkey turned to Israel. Although they were strained for more than ten years, Israel-Turkey relations had never been brought to a total halt. Tourism and trade ties between the two never stopped even when Erdogan was launching into vociferous diatribes against Israeli leaders for murdering Palestinian children and pummeling Palestinian homes with airstrikes.

Now, Erdogan seems to be aspiring to have better relations with Israel, even though his country and he himself have been touting themselves as the champions of defending the Palestinian cause. “Our heart desires that we can move our relations with [Israel] to a better point,” Erdogan said in December 2020, adding, “Our relations with Israel on intelligence have not ceased anyway, they are still continuing.”

The Turkish president implied at the time that the improvement of his country’s ties with Israel hinged on the change of some Israeli people “at the top,” a reference to then-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose relations with Erdogan deteriorated to a rarely seen level. With Netanyahu gone and new Israeli leadership taking office, Erdogan saw an opportunity for better relations with a regime he kept denouncing its “terrorism” against the Palestinians. During the May flare-up between Israel and the Gaza Strip, Erdogan castigated Israel for their careless ill-treatment of the Palestinians.

These positions, and earlier rebukes, often pulled on the heartstrings of millions of ordinary Arabs across the Arab world. Many of them still proudly remember how then-Prime Minister Erdogan grilled then-Israeli President Shimon Peres at the World Economic Forum in 2009. “When it comes to killing, you know very well how to kill. And I know very well how you killed children on the beaches,” Erdogan angrily told Peres in an intense argument over Israel’s war on Gaza, and then walked off the stage.

Turkish officials knew how to earn praise from Arab public opinion. With every Israeli-Palestinian flare-up, they quickly seized on the opportunity to receive a standing ovation in the Arab world.

This, however, may soon come to an end. For millions of Arabs, the Palestinian cause is not something to be measured with economic potentials. Erdogan may succeed in persuading his fellow compatriots that renewed ties with Israel would result in economic benefits for Turkish citizens, but he can never justify his ties with Israel to millions of Arabs who thought that they finally found a leader who can rise up against the Israeli oppression.

The Turkish government seems to be aware of this issue and has taken precautionary measures by underlining that Turkey would continue to support the Palestinians. Earlier this week, Erdogan met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Istanbul. “During the meeting, President Erdogan underlined that Turkey will not remain silent to Israel’s oppression in Palestine and that lasting peace and stability cannot be established in the region so long as Israel continues its policies of occupation and annexation,” according to a Turkish readout of the meeting. “Turkey will continue to support intra-Palestinian reconciliation efforts, the President further stressed, expressing his pleasure over the positive course of the bilateral relations in every area extending from economy and trade to culture, education and tourism.”

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Erdogan calls on international community to give Israel ‘strong’ lesson . Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has denounced Israel’s attacks on Palestinians in Jerusalem al-Quds and the besieged Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to give Israel a “strong” lesson.

During a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, Erdogan voiced Turkey’s firm opposition to Israel’s treatment of Palestinians in Jerusalem al-Quds and the al-Aqsa Mosque as well as its bombardment of Gaza.

“The international community needs to give a strong and deterrent lesson to Israel.”

Erdogan also stressed that the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) must issue a clear and decisive statement pertaining to the current situation in the occupied territories.

He said the idea of “sending an international protection force to the region in order to protect Palestinian civilians” should also be considered.

For his part, Putin expressed serious concern about the escalation of tensions.

“Serious concern was expressed about the continuing clashes and the growing number of people killed and wounded,” the Kremlin said in a statement, adding that Putin had urged “the parties to de-escalate tensions and peacefully resolve the emerging issues.”

Palestinian resistance fighters have launched hundreds of rockets into Israeli occupied territories in defense of Gaza against the regime’s bombardment of the besieged territory. The rocket barrage is also in retaliation for Israel’s brutal crackdown on worshipers at al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli bombardment, which began on Monday, has left 53 Palestinians killed.

Tensions escalated in Jerusalem al-Quds, the occupied West Bank and Gaza throughout the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The trigger was an Israeli plan for the forced expulsion of Palestinians from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in al-Quds, where illegal Israeli settlers are looking to further encroachments.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on US President Joe Biden to reverse a decision to name the 1915 massacre of Armenians by the former Ottoman Empire “genocide,” warning that the declaration would harm bilateral ties.

In a statement on April 24, Biden honored “all those Armenians who perished in the genocide that began 106 years ago today,” becoming the first US president to formally refer to the killings as “genocide.”

“The US president has made baseless, unjust and untrue remarks about the sad events that took place in our geography over a century ago,” Erdogan said after a cabinet meeting on Monday.

“I hope the US president will turn back from this wrong step as soon as possible,” he added.

Erdogan stressed that the move would hinder ties, advising the United States to “look in the mirror.”

“If you say genocide, then you need to look at yourselves in the mirror and make an evaluation. The Native Americans, I don’t even need to mention them, what happened is clear,” he said, in reference to the treatment of indigenous people by European settlers at the end of the 15th century as they colonized North America.

According to a team at University College London, back then, some 55 million indigenous people died during the European conquest of America.

The majority of the deaths occurred by diseases brought over from Europe. War, slavery, and displacement also contributed to the decline of the populations of the indigenous community.

Erdogan said, “While all these truths are out there, you cannot pin the genocide accusation on the Turkish people.”

The Turkish president said his country still sought to establish “good neighborly” ties with Armenia, reiterating his call on Turkish and Armenian historians to form a joint commission to investigate the events in 1915.

Erdogan also contested the death toll and said some 150,000 people had been killed, as opposed to the roughly 1.5 million Armenia says were massacred.

The toll was “exaggerated by adding a zero to the end,” he said.

Ankara acknowledges that many Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire were killed in clashes with Ottoman forces during World War One but denies that the killings were systematically orchestrated and constitute genocide.

Turkey also argues that such accusations do not take into account the number of the Turkish deaths during the conflict.

On Sunday, Erdogan’s spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said Ankara would respond to Biden’s “simply outrageous” statement “in coming days and months.”

According to Turkey’s Parliament Speaker Mustafa Sentop, Turkish lawmakers are due to respond to Biden’s remarks on Wednesday.

Biden’s decision came amid already strained ties between Ankara and Washington over a host of issues, including Turkey’s acquisition of Russian S-400 missile defense systems.

Erdogan said he expected to “open the door for a new period” in relations and to discuss all disputes with Biden at a NATO summit in June, but warned of a further deterioration in ties unless the allies can compartmentalize issues.

Earlier on Monday, angry Turks gathered outside the American consulate in Istanbul to protest Biden’s statement.

The demonstrators chanted slogans such as “Genocide is a lie, it’s an American plan,” and also called for an end to the American military’s use of the Incirlik airbase in southern Turkey.

Why Is Erdogan the Replica of Saddam?

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s behaviors during the past four years and even with conducting sham coup d’etat to eliminate his opponents have created grounds for emerging beliefs in the people of the world especially in the West Asia that he is after revival of Ottoman Empire with the modern mechanisms that if he has naively craved for revival of the Ottoman Empire as a modus operandi for his survival in power, and theatrically and sympathetically showing support to the regional states, one should analyze him in this deep, unsustainable and unbelievable hallucinatory context because this illusion was so that he has made his exhibitive guards wear dressings of different nationalities in order to show that he intends coexistence with the countries once Britain had chopped them into small pieces from Ottoman Empire and has appointed its agents in power in those countries.

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

However with what is said, does anybody accept, for instance, him to be concerned about the territorial integrity of Republic of Azerbaijan while he himself has occupied some parts of Iraq and Syria’s territories and adventures in Libya? If we believe the West Asia region is at risk of “Christian Zionism”, then we should see what relation Erdogan’s stances in the recent years has had with this link (UK, U.S. and Israel). From another angle, is it believable a government to claim of forming an empire while it itself has turned into the military colony of the U.S. and the NATO?

Turkish government for almost several decades has been begging to join European Union but each time it has been humiliated by one of the countries and recently by the EU. With these humiliations which even angered Erdogan so that in August 2016 he said, “Europe has been deceiving us for 53 years,” and before EU accepts Turkey as its member, the country has started the dream of being an empire and creating a big illusion, should not we consider him an emerging Saddam (Hussein) in the region?

Of course this point is one hundred percent correct that Europeans for decades have made Turkey as the member of its military branch (NATO) and have exploited it in favor of them and 28 European countries are not even ready to share their economic advantages with this country and the output of this approach of Europe and obedience of Turkey has been $430b of foreign debts for Turkey and it is predicted that this amount of foreign debts, through pledging some part of the country to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund that are run by the U.S. and Europe, may soon hit $465b.

Unfortunately losses in consecutive gambles instead of awakening Erdogan have pushed him towards worse gambles, exactly like the gambles he did during eight years of devastating war of Saddam Hussein with Iran and for a couple of months with Kuwait which led to destruction of him and his Baath Party. Turkey is today moving in the same direction. Let’s regard the remarks of Diyarbakır representative to Turkish Parliament. Hisyar Ozsoy is representative of city of Diyarbakr in Turkish Parliament. In one of the parliament open sessions he launched a scathing attack at Erdogan government’s foreign policy and accused him of domestic projection and conquest with the mentality of becoming an emperor.

Speaking during the parliament session for reviewing the next year budget bill, Ozsoy who is a member of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) said, “Look! What Turkey is exporting to the Middle East and the world? Soldiers, military equipment and if it does not have them, it exports thug paramilitary to Syria. It does it or as you know it dispatches paramilitary to Libya. Everybody knows it, everybody in the world. But those who say that we are in a anti-colonialism war, a little bit earlier than your claim and recently former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq and Turkey James Jeffrey in an article published in the Al-Monitor news website has said that I recommend you to read … Do you know what he says? He says ‘We need Turkey very much because we really can’t “do” the Middle East, the Caucuses or the Black Sea without Turkey. And Turkey is a natural opponent of Russia and Iran.’ “We can’t” can have a lot of meanings.”

The lawmaker adds “Jeffery says ‘We can’t take any action without Turkey in Black Sea, Middle East and the Caucasus and even it is needed we should end Syria war with the assistance of Turkey but we should not give the victory as a gift to Iran and Russia.’ He also says ‘We use Turkey’s military power in the war in Syria’ and I will not any longer go through the rest of his article. I has repeatedly in this podium said here that Turkey does not have any humanitarian and innovative foreign policy. Erdogan foreign policy is totally interventionist and where he sees vacuums, he moves to take advantage of them.”

Ozsoy continues, “Turkish foreign policy is dominated by colonial powers. It means its policies are in line with meeting the demands of colonial powers and they even tell us to do this in order that they financially support us. Look! There are some days that I have been hearing and all of you have also heard about the budget that they say there is no reason to worry about it. Turkey is a NATO member and the U.S. is gradually leaving the region and it wants Turkey to fill this gap. For days, I have been openly hearing it. These are not my words, these are what the Western powers say that Russia is present in Libya and Syria, of course in Syria, but actually Russia and Iran are both present there and ultimately we put Turkey as the NATO member against them. They say for almost 70 to 80 years Turkey has been part of Western bloc and been trying to turn into one of the NATO powers, it means it has 70 to 80 years of background from 1950 till today which is a 70-year background. Today we have reached a point that the U.S., EU and European Council all of them have reached this point to sanction us.”

This is an analysis of a Turkish parliament lawmaker who derides the claim of fight with imperialism and clandestinely accuses Turkey of being lackey of Imperialism. Exactly like Saddam was afflicted with it verbally and practically.

Write It Saddam , Read It Erdogan

Reading out the poem “Araz, Araz” and actually it means “Aras, Aras (Aras River)” by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has only revealed half a percent of hidden malice of this ambitious Freemason that has got so bad that even Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif responded to Erdogan’s remarks by saying, “No one can talk about our beloved Azerbaijan.”

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

The esteemed readers remember that during the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict over Karabakh, I wrote an article with the title of “Atheist or Hypocrisy, Which One Should We Side With?” In that article that I wrote on October 7, I explained the reason why Erdogan was supporting Azerbaijan Republic in war with Armenia that this malicious man thinks more of Turkish Empire rather than merely thinking of the support of Azerbaijan. But interests definitely required that we put Armenia under pressure in order that Erdogan’s intentions are materialized by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev. In that article I had written

“Have anyone thought that Turkey in supporting Republic of Azerbaijan’s invasion at Armenia is pursuing some part of its scenario on Neo-Ottomanization? That Nagorno-Karabakh dispute has very dimensions and multi-dimensions like inland, outland, regional and even international roots and for this reason all regional and international actors are involved in this dispute, ”and in justifying Turkey’s behavior in the very article I had written, “Suppose that we have not had and do not have any peaceful relation with Armenia which is a non-Islamic country and we call them atheist but how can we not see the goals of Turkey behind this dispute? Turkey’s interest for active presence in the Caucasus region and cooperation and proximity with Azerbaijan can be analyzed as the hegemonic goals and its major goals can be enumerated clearly. First Turkey with supporting Azerbaijan has a strategic approach to the Caucasus Region for creating a strategic balance for competition with regional actors like Russia and Iran and attaches a special attention to extending its joint border with Iran. Secondly, economic goals of Turkey in the Caucasus Region for providing its energy through developing and expanding the oil pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan), and cooperation with Azerbaijan has a far-sighted process and it is part of its Neo-Ottomanization strategy in the region. Thirdly, Turkey’s motivation for entering the South Caucasus Region is accompanied with a nationalism and ideological approach. Turkish language, religion and common religion have made Turkey’s President Erdogan have a special view blended support from Azerbaijan in the Karabakh issue. Now it is quite clear some of expenditures which are spent by Pan-Turkism in Iran are financed through which avenues. Smartly one should notice that the dominant condition on Caucasus region is in a way that countries which struggling with crises like Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have to rely on regional and trans-regional powers and actors for pursuing their goals and relation because of their incapability in managing the crisis and settling the disputes. So the success of Turkey in this region will not ever be to the benefit of the region.”

“The reason that Turkey does not intend to convince Azerbaijan to accept Iran’s mediation as the sheikh (leader and elder) of the region lies in this issue that the unconstructive role of international actors like the OSCE Minsk Group (the U.S., Russia and France) is very calculated and bold for settling the dispute due to their differences over their interests, and continuity of the dispute and above all success of Azerbaijan will never be to the benefit of a sustainable peace in this geography.”

Now with recent Erdogan’s remarks, it is crystal clear that the Western-Arab-Hebrew current is seeking fracas in the region and goes ahead with an intention of secession in Iran and I have had no doubt and you should also have no doubt that Erdogan has smelt scent of kabab (barbecue) but he does not know it was the smell of branding the donkey.

Good behavior of President Hassan Rouhani’s government with Erdogan in the past can witness its harmony or its inexperience, and the risk lies here when enemies are planning to dictate their secessionist policies, these Erdogan’s remarks are the telltale sign of a plot which has been disclosed through his mouth.

We should know that the danger of Erdogan of today is more than of Saddam Hussein because Saddam had no fraternization with the domestic current, and even the terrorist grouplet MKO members on the orders of London in 1979 turned to Saddam but Erdogan has had a weapon with the tool of Turkish language, so called pan-Turkism, and also finding friend in the process of coexistence with Iran government. Of course, I merely warn and do not intend to accuse anyone in the country.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s remarks came at a symposium held on Democracy and Freedom Island against coup, Anadolu Agency reported on Sunday.

In a direct reference to Emmanuel Macron, Erdogan said, “You have no knowledge of history. You do not know the history of France.”

“You cannot lecture us on humanity,” he added, recalling the massacres in Algeria where some 1 million people were killed and in Rwanda where 800,000 people were murdered.

“Do not mess with Turkey and Turkish people,” Erdogan added.

On Thursday, ahead of a summit of southern EU member states, Macron said, “We must be tough with the Turkish government and not with the Turkish people, who deserve more than the Erdogan government.”

“Turkey is no longer a partner in the Mediterranean region,” said the French president, saying NATO ally Turkey had some unacceptable encounters with a French ship off the coast of Libya.

Turkey on Thursday condemned Macron over his “arrogant” remarks made with “colonial reflexes”. In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Macron endangers EU interests with his “individual and nationalistic stance.”
