    Kashmir’s Persistent Struggle for Freedom and Justice

    The Kashmir dispute is one of the most contentious conflicts in the world. For over seventy years, the residents of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have been under a relentless struggle for their right to self-determination. Despite calls from the United Nations, international organizations, and human rights bodies, the Kashmiri people's aspirations have never been heard, misrepresented and thus denied in a perpetual manner by the Indian government. As we mark Youm-e-Istehsaal (the Day of Exploitation) on 5th August 2025, we are reminded of the suffering by the vulnerable people, but also of the international community's obfuscation in taking a stand.
