TEHRAN - The Iran–Afghanistan Joint Cooperation Development Summit was held in Birjand with the participation of Mohammad Reza Bahraman, Vice President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA); Din Mohammad Ne’mati, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment of Farah Province, Afghanistan; and Alireza Khamehzar, President of the Birjand Chamber of Commerce.

TEHRAN - The Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) and the Embassy of Armenia in Tehran have agreed to establish a joint digital platform to facilitate direct connections between business communities of the two countries.

TEHRAN - Iranian companies are preparing to enter the water markets of Tanzania, Nigeria, Algeria, and Mauritania through newly signed cooperation agreements aimed at expanding technical and engineering collaboration between Iran and Africa. TEHRAN - The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade announced a 4.5% increase in home appliance exports during the first half of the year, alongside an improvement in the domestic manufacturing depth of the industry from 50% to 60%.

TEHRAN - Nasrin Ojaghi, Secretary of the Iranian Home Appliances Manufacturers Association, has revealed that nearly 30 percent of household appliances in the market are smuggled, primarily through “te-lenji” traders and sailors. She warned that a recent law allowing border residents to import up to 10 percent of the country’s total imports duty-free or with minimal tariffs poses a serious threat to domestic producers — not only in the home appliance industry but also in the textile sector.
