TEHRAN - According to estimates by the Research Center of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, the country’s overall Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) — known locally as Shamekh — for September was recorded at 45.3, showing a slightly slower decline compared with the previous month but remaining below the neutral threshold of 50 for the 18th consecutive month.

TEHRAN - The head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi, announced that the country’s non-oil exports reached $25.94 billion in the first six months of the current Iranian year (March–September 2025), a slight increase from $25.92 billion during the same period last year. While the export value remained nearly unchanged, export volume grew by 6 percent.
