TEHRAN (Iran News) The Lebanese resistance group said on Monday morning that its fighters targeted Israeli troops stationed near Khallet Warda, opposite the Lebanese village of Aita al-Shab, with a volley of rockets.
In another assault, Hezbollah fired salvos at Israeli positions in the Jabal Kahil area, close to Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon, and on the eastern side of Markaba village.
The group also directed rocket barrages at an Israeli artillery position in the Beit Hillel moshav in northern occupied territories.
A gathering of Israeli forces at the al-Malikiyah outpost came under fire, along with the illegal Kiryat Shmona settlement, which Hezbollah shelled with numerous rockets.
Additionally, Hezbollah targeted an Israeli artillery site in the illegal Odem settlement in the occupied Golan Heights.
Earlier attacks saw Hezbollah strike Israel’s Filon base, headquarters of the 210th Division, and the Tirat Carmel base in southern Haifa.
The resistance group also fired advanced rockets at Haifa and targeted the Samson unit’s base near Lake Tiberias.
Since October 2023, Israel has launched sustained military operations in Lebanon. In response, Hezbollah has carried out repeated retaliatory operations against Israeli positions.
The conflict escalated after Israel assassinated Hezbollah’s leader, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, along with several senior officials in September.
The Lebanese health ministry reports at least 2,350 casualties and 10,906 injuries from Israeli attacks since the clashes began.
Hezbollah has pledged to maintain its attacks on Israel as long as the genocidal war on Gaza continues, which has so far claimed the lives of at least 42,519 Palestinians, including many women and children.
