Tehran to Host Biggest Gathering of Construction Industry of Asia
Tehran will host the biggest and most specialized international gathering of constructors, producers and exporters of construction industry in March.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –Tehran will host the biggest and most specialized international gathering of constructors, producers and exporters of construction industry in March.

The CEO of  Facilities Management Society and secretary of the First Congress of Builders, Manufacturers and Exporters of Construction Industry Mr. Misaq Salmasi announced the news and said that in line with materializing policies of the sustainable economic development of Islamic Iran in the world as well as boosting  and reinforcing the export-centered production and services of construction industry, and concurrent with honoring Engineer Day, the first Asian gathering of activists of the construction industry will gather in Tehran in the congress which will open on February 23 at the Conference Hall of IRIB.

More than 11 Asian countries are to attend this event. China, Qatar, Oman, Turkey and Armenia are major Asian participants in the event.

Salmasi added that the event will touch different issues related to the construction industry like preparing talks and international contracts for export of modern products and technologies of construction industry, exporting technical and engineering services, trade insurances and international transportation laws in broadening international trade, export-centered production as well as attracting foreign investment and introducing knowledge-based achievements of the construction industry.

He reiterated that this international event will be held with collaboration of Trade Promotion Organization, Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization, Tehran Construction Engineering Organization, Facilities Management Society, Technology Trade Center, International Market Construction System, Association of Mass Builders of Tehran,  and National Mass Constructors Association and university centers as well as international economic activists and domestic experts and state officials.
