TEHRAN (Iran News) – The Zionist regime once again revealed its filthy nature and this time it assassinated one of Iranian brave IRGC member in Tehran and this crime should get due response and punishment and this time the Zionists cannot escape without being punished.
On Sunday, the terrorist attack claimed the life of Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodaei. The attack took place in Tehran at around 4 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) when the IRGC member General Khodaei was dismounting his car to enter his home in an eastern neighborhood of the Iranian capital. He was reportedly assassinated after two motorcyclists shot him five times before fleeing the scene.
Reacting to this crime, the spokesman of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said foreign-sponsored rogue elements and terrorists who assassinated a member of the force in the capital Tehran will soon get a taste of their own medicine for the misdeed.
“The martyrdom of General [Hassan Sayyad] Khodaei further consolidated the IRGC’s resolve to defend the [country’s] national security, independence, and interests and confront the enemies of the Iranian nation,” Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said on Monday.
Sharif added, “Enemies definitely will not accomplish anything through committing criminal acts against the Iranian nation and the Muslim Ummah, particularly the valiant combatants and fighters as well as security forces.”
“Thugs, rouge elements, and remnants of terrorist groups affiliated with the global arrogance and Zionism will be punished for their criminal acts,” he pointed out.
Sharif emphasized that Khodaei’s assassination has further strengthened the IRGC’s determination to safeguard national security and sovereignty and to decisively confront the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the terrorist US administration plus the bogus, criminal, and the temporary Israeli regime.
Meanwhile, the secretary of the State Security Council said the assassination of the IRGC member was definitely carried out by Israel, and those who perpetrated the crime must await a severe response from Iran.
“This act was undeniably carried out by the Zionist regime. They (Israeli officials) must now be assured that harsh revenge awaits them,” Majid Mir-Ahmadi said in an interview with Iran’s official news agency IRNA on Monday.
He continued, “The criminals who have committed the crime must be prepared for a stinging slap as our revenge will be such that they will regret their action.”
This is not the first time that Iranian nationals face the Zionist regime’s state terrorism because the Zionist and their elements have several times attempted assassinations against Iranian officials and scientists that some of them have failed and some of them have led to the martyrdom of the targets.
Iranians have not yet forgotten the assassination of its great scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in 2020 who was shot down in suburb Tehran.
Iranians in retaliation in recent years have taken some measures against the Zionist regime and they have targeted the Zionists’ positions like in Erbil of Iraq but it seems the Zionists need a more serious and harsh response in order to stop messing with the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
Iranian officials should consider this point that if they do not give a due response and punishment to the Zionists, they will be emboldened and will continue their terrorist actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran and every day we have to witness such crimes which are out of Zionists’ coward nature.
Although in most of times Iranians have shown restraint and patience in having abrupt response to the Zionists but this time they need to react fast because the Zionists are trying to paint a weak picture of the Islamic Revolution in terms of its intelligence services and its inability in giving response to the Zionists’ crimes.
Of course, we cannot seat and wait for the due reactions from the international bodies because we know this point that the international bodies have no guts to take any action against Israel due to the full support of the big powers and especially the West.
So everybody in Iran and even Muslim world is vehemently waiting for due response and punishment from Tehran against this terrorist regime which continues its crimes nonstop in any part of the world. Any delay and weak response will embolden the Zionists for further targeting the Iranians and will weaken the position of Tehran in Muslim world as a strong power.
Wise and harsh response is what martyrs like Sayyad Khodaei, Fakhrizadeh and above them Qasem Soleimani expect from Iranian officials to prove the Islamic Republic of Iran’s power in all fields.
