TEHRAN (Iran News) – Director of Foreign Trade Office at the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technological Assistance of Iran Mr. Abolfazl Koudei says the government has reformed the regulations for granting Iran residence permit to foreign investors and according to the latest approval, any foreign investor who invests 90,000 euros in Iran can get a five-year Iran residence permit.
The previous approval just granted a three-year residence for those who had $250,000 investment in Iran which was changed and approved by the current government.
Koudei said that the recent approval is aimed at encouraging foreign investors for investment in Iran especially investors from the neighboring countries.
He went on to say that the previous approval was amended by the government for easing foreign investment in the country. He noted that according to the new approval, the foreign investor and his managers and experts as well as the foreign staff employed in his investment in the country can get the residency and their wives or husbands as well as kids can also get the residency.
