President Says Current Price Regulation “Unacceptable”
President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed his dissatisfaction over the current situation of price regulation in the country despite some economic achievement in the international trade.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –  President Says Current Price Regulation “Unacceptable”. President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed his dissatisfaction over the current situation of price regulation in the country despite some economic achievement in the international trade.

Referring to the achievements of the 13th government in various fields, including significant growth in oil sales, boosting trade with Eurasian countries and the like, Raisi said, “Despite promising achievements in various fields, the current situation in regulating and controlling the market and prices is not acceptable”.

Speaking in a cabinet meeting, the President stressed the cooperation and synergy between the government and parliament to solve the country’s problems, and said, “The most important way to create this synergy in the interaction between government and parliament are parliamentary liaisons of executive bodies”.

On the existing problems in the supply of paper needed by the country, especially for publications, he said, “The relevant officials seriously put the issue of nationalization of the needs of the publishing field, especially paper, on the agenda”.

Emphasizing the need for full coordination in the government in the field of information, the President said, “Announcing positions and informing about issues related to the government should be done in full coordination with the government spokesman”.

During the meeting, the Governor-General of Khuzestan Sadegh Khalilian presented a report on the actions taken in the province, and the President said, “We owe a lot to this province and its noble and devoted people”.

Ayatollah Raisi also stated that part of the resolutions of the Supreme Leader’s visit to Khuzestan province has not been fully implemented yet, adding, “We believe that one of the ways out of the problems of this province is the full implementation of the plans approved during the Supreme Leader’s visit”.

The President mentioned the good work that has been done to rebuild the quake-hit area and resettle the people of Andika, stressing the need for jihadist action to complete rebuilding plans due to the cold season.

Raisi also tasked the Vice-President for Executive Affairs with holding meetings with the governor-general and local managers and, if necessary, travel to Khuzestan to follow up on the issues and resolutions of the President’s visit.
