Raisi Urges Iranian Expatriates to Invest in Makran Coasts
President Ebrahim Raisi said that Makran coasts must be paid more attention, urging the Iranian expatriate to invest in the area.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –   President Ebrahim Raisi said that Makran coasts must be paid more attention, urging the Iranian expatriate to invest in the area.

Speaking on Thursday in the administrative council in Chabahar, southeastern Iran, President Raisi said that Makran shores are a national wealth and should gain especial attention.

He added that the best area for investment for Iranian expatriate is Makran.

He also said that employment and investment are of great importance to the country.

Makran or Mokran is a coastal area in southeastern Iran and southern area of Sistan-o-Baluchestan province, which has 300 kilometers of water border and 1,100 kilometers of land border. It bounds from north to Khorasan province and Afghanistan, from west to Kerman province, from south to Oman Sea and from east to Pakistan.

In Chabahar, President met with the people of the Imam Hussein (AS) Mosque on Thursday night after paying his respects to the martyrs.

Speaking in this gathering, Ayatollah Raisi said that Sistan and Baluchestan has been very developed thanks to the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the holy blood of the martyrs, and a lot of work has been done in this region, adding, “The security that we see in this region today is the fruit of the pure blood of the martyrs, which creates security”.

The President added, “The defenders of the country’s security took their lives in the palm of their hands and stood up against criminals so that the people of this region can be safe today. This is a great blessing that we should be grateful for”.

Raisi stated that another great blessing that God has bestowed on this region is the blessing of unity and cohesion, saying, “The people of Sistan and Baluchestan are living alongside each other with different dialects Sunni and Shia, and all of them respect the revolution, the system, the leader and progress and justice of the country”.

He added, “We have many valuable capacities in this region. The people who love the revolution, and the human resources and the young forces that can play a role in various fields are among the great assets of the region”.

The President said, “We should appreciate this blessing. One way to appreciate this blessing is to use this efficient human resources to solve the problems that exist in people’s lives. We hope that the 13th government will be able to use the capacity of the country’s human resources, especially the young and efficient human resources”.

Raisi said, “Poverty and discrimination are definitely not good for our dear nation. People are suffering from poverty while it is possible to create conditions where there is no poverty among the people”.

 

 

 

Meanwhile on Friday, Raisi went to Zabol on the second day of his visit to Sistan and Baluchestan, and apologized to the people of the province for not holding public meetings due to observing health protocols.

He emphasized, “I and those members of the government who are present in this trip, are trying to be present in different parts of the area to the extent that no problem in terms of health protocols arises”.

The President described the water problem as one of the important concerns and issues in the Zabol region and added, “Before traveling to the province, we had meetings in the government to discuss ways to solve this problem”.

“Several solutions and suggestions have been proposed that the Minister of Energy, in cooperation with local officials and the governor general, will take action and take serious steps to address public concerns about water,” he said.

In response to a question about the connection of Chabahar to the national railway, Dr Raisi stated, “This is one of the topics that will be discussed during this trip”.

The President continued, “We have decided to delegate powers and privileges to the governor generals of deprived provinces to solve the problems, so that the problems of these provinces can be resolved more quickly, and Sistan and Baluchestan is one of these provinces”.
