Double-Standard the U.S. Style
Whenever some incident happens in Iran or any independent country, Western media and especially in the U.S. ones begin to magnify it and show that there is no security in those countries and the Western media and officials also begin blame-game and accusing officials of the said-countries of violence and disregarding human rights but when some similar incident happens in their own lands, they try to justify it and defend the public rights.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –  Whenever some incident happens in Iran or any independent country, Western media and especially in the U.S. ones begin to magnify it and show that there is no security in those countries and the Western media and officials also begin blame-game and accusing officials of the said-countries of violence and disregarding human rights but when some similar incident happens in their own lands, they try to justify it and defend the public rights.

Every time there is a street clash in Iran we see such reactions from the U.S. media in a way to show Iran is not a safe country or its people are unhappy with its system but they are not even ready to accept that the condition in their own country is even worse than Iran or any independent country which is not ready to give in to the U.S. hegemony.

On Saturday again the U.S. saw a crime which shocked the people but there was no response from the official. According to reports on Saturday, rampant shootings in major U.S. cities killed at least three people, including a 6-year-old girl who was shot in a fast-food restaurant in Washington, DC along with five adults that suffered injuries.

Washington’s Metropolitan Police Department Executive Assistant Chief Ashan Benedict pleaded to the public on Saturday to help “bring these shooters to justice,” after the late Friday shooting in a Southeast neighborhood of the city that wounded three men and two women.

“There is too much gun violence still perpetuated in this city, and too many children are being harmed — innocent children — by gunfire. So, please, help the police department, our detectives, bring those people to justice and bring some closure to the families,” Benedict emphasized in a video posted to Twitter.

No arrests have been made in the case although police officers heard the gunshots and reported immediately to the scene.

In the western city of Portland two people were reported killed and at least six others were wounded in separate shooting incidents on Saturday as the city’s mayor insisted that it was facing a “pandemic” of gun violence.

One person was killed and at least six others were wounded in a shooting overnight in downtown Portland, police say.

These are some samples for violence in a country which considers itself as the world safest place and big power. Suppose such incident happens in Iran. The U.S. media will start hype against Iranian officials and accuse them of violence or promoting violence in the country but when it comes to them, they keep quit.

The incidents of gun violence have seen an alarming surge in the U.S. in recent years, reigniting the debate over gun control laws and misuse of lethal weapons.

The fatal shootings are the latest in an epidemic of gun violence across Portland.

According to local press reports, there have been nearly 570 shooting incidents in the city so far this year, more than twice the number recorded during the same time in 2020.

Portland has also had more than 50 homicides so far in 2021, including two fatal shootings by police.

News outlets across the U.S. also reported multiple other shooting incidents in other cities throughout the country on Friday night and Saturday, highlighting the persisting epidemic of gun violence in the United States amid reports of surging purchases of all sorts of guns and ammunitions.

So with such a record of shooting and violence, the U.S. cannot be able prescribe any solution for the peace and security inside other countries like what it prescribes for Afghanistan.

The U.S. administration and system is backed by arms producers and dealers and it will definitely not take any action to ban carrying guns in the country or sales of arms to other countries because this is these companies which inject money into the veins of the U.S. system no matter how many people are killed in the U.S. or any country.

For the Americans, the sales of gun and weapons is important and the lives of people are not regarded and the slogan of self-defense, human rights and citizen right are all just for deceiving the public opinion and indeed those slogans have no value and room in the U.S.

There is a proverb which says “You reap what you sow” and the U.S. by creating insecurity and violence in other countries see its consequences in its own land and this violence may bring this state down to its knees sooner or later.
