TEHRAN (Iran News) – The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Iran’s Islamic Revolution Leader says the downward spiral of the Israeli regime has started and will not stop.
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei noted the issue of Palestine remains the most important and very much a live issue for the whole Muslim community.
“There are two significant factors which determine the future,” said the Leader in a televised message on the occasion of International Quds Day.
“First and foremost is to continue resistance inside Palestinian territories as well as reinforce the trend of struggles and martyrdom,” Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
“The second factor is international support by Muslim governments and nations around the world for those fighting for the cause of Palestine,” said the Leader.
“Ayatollah Khamenei said unity among Muslims on the issue of Quds will lead to a nightmare for the Israeli regime and its American and European supporters,” he added.
“The failed ‘deal of the century’ scheme and the move by a handful of weak Arab states to normalize their relations with Tel Aviv are a desperate attempt to run away from that nightmare,” he explained.
The Leader said the Israeli regime has turned occupied Palestine into a terrorist base.
So, he added, fighting the despotic regime of Israel amounts to fighting terrorism.
He said that the Israeli regime is getting weaker year after year, adding that one cannot find any weaker entity than the Zionist regime of Israel.
Today, which is the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan, is marked by the people across the world as International Quds Day. The day was designated by Late Leader Imam Khomeini in 1979 to express support for the Palestinians and oppose Zionism and the Israeli regime.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the issue of Palestine as the most important and most active issue for the Islamic world, and then touched upon the atrocities and crimes done by the Israeli regime against the Palestinians.
He said that the Zionists drove out Palestinians from their homeland, and described Israel as the weakest regime in the world which is based on terrorism.

The Leader said that the Zionists have turned occupied Palestinian land into a terrorist base.
Ayatollah Khamenei further described the fighting against the despotic regime of Israel as fighting against oppression and terrorism.
He blamed division among Muslims as the basis for creating Israel, saying that the weakness and discord in Islamic Ummah prepared the ground for the usurpation of Palestine by the Zionists.
The Leader explained more that the ground for occupying a sensitive Islamic region had been prepared years ago before the Israeli regime was created.
But, he said that today, the balance of power has tilted towards the Islamic nations, saying that the world situation has swung in favor of world of Islam.
Ayatollah Khamenei further pointed out that the growth of Resistance forces in Islamic regions signals a better future.
Ayatollah Khamenei described cooperation and synergy between Muslims around the Pivot of holy Quds as an absolute nightmare for the Zionists.
He went on to describe the “Deal of Century” and normalization of ties with the regime of Israel as a desperate move to run away from the nightmare.
Later, the Leader turned his speech into Arabic language addressing the Arab nations in Arabic.
He praised the Palestinian and Lebanese iconic figures Emad Moghnieh and Fat’hi Shaghaghi as well as the Iranian top commander martyr General Qassem Soleimani as people who were martyred in the fight for Palestine.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution further added that “Greeting be upon martyrs of Resistance.”
He went on in Arabic to say that Palestine and Quds have been occupied by devils who massacre honorable men.
He said that all Muslims and Islamic governments are responsible towards Palestine and they have a duty to continue the struggle against Israel.
Today, unity is the biggest weapon for the Palestinians, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
He described Zionists and the US as the biggest enemies of Palestinian unity.
He added that the pivot of Palestinian unity should be national Jihad, lack of trust in enemies.
The Leader continued to point out that “Today, the hope of achieving victory is stronger than ever.”
He also described the normalization of ties with the Israeli regime by some weak Arab states as a stab in the back of Palestine, calling on the Palestinian fighters to continue to fight against the usurping regime.
