Wealth of Iranian Expatriates Estimated Around $2,000b

TEHRAN – A member of presiding boar of Majlis says some six million Iranians live abroad whose wealth is estimated around $2,000b.
Speaking to ICANA, Alireza Salimi explained the details of the meeting the members of the Iranian expatriate fraction of Majlis with deputy foreign minister on consular, legal and Iranian affairs abroad. He said in the meeting, the condition of Iranian expatriates was reviewed.
Salimi who is representative of Mahallat and Delijan constituency to Majlis said that some six million Iranians live abroad whose wealth is estimated around $2,000b and one of the topics discussed in the meeting was how the country can plan for investment of Iranian expatriate in a was major part of this huge wealth is taken into the country.
He said during the current government, investment of Iranian oversees has declined considerably and the country should move towards this huge capacity.
Salimi added that in the meeting the issue of Iranian students abroad was discussed as the number of students is around 70 and most of them are facing serious problems and their problems should be resolved.
He added that in the meeting also the issue of Iranian schools abroad was discussed, adding that some of students have forgotten their mother tongue and it should be reinforced and these schools should also be reinforced.
Salimi said the country should pave the ground for reverse migration of Iranian elites into the country and the country should use its diplomacy capacity for resolving such problems.
