TEHRAN – Head of Bandar Abbas Chamber of Commerce Mohammad Reza Safa in meeting with the head of Kazakhstan Consulate Mr. Dauletali Nysan called for using bilateral capacities for boosting bilateral interactions and called the outlook of economic relations between Iran and Kazakhstan positive and promising.

In the meeting, Mr. Safa talked about the rise in the trade relations of Hormuzgan Province with Kazakhstan due to interactions and talks.

He said the world is familiar with capacities of Hormuzgan Province in terms of its trade and tourism capacities and developing countries have focused on this rich province.

He said the province has high capacities in terms of trade and Bandar Abbas Chamber tries to both invest foreign investors and to pave the ground for presence of traders from the target countries.

He reiterated that one should not forget this point that trade with the world without considering the international agreements, banking relations and even in the post-sanctions era will be difficult for Iranian traders.

Safa noted that restoring trade relation between Hormuzgan Province and Port of Aktau of Kazakhstan is the main goal of the province and the first step has been taken for it.

He also called for holding a webinar between chambers of commerce of Bandar Abbas and Aktau for creating the relation between traders of Hormuzgan and Aktau, adding that the trade gets boom when both sides are aware of the needs of  their countries in order to restore bilateral relations.

Safa concluded that in terms of culture, Iran and Kazakhstan have great commonalities and undoubtedly, expansion of trade ties will be to the benefit of traders of Hormuzgan.

Then Mr. Nysan, for his part, said that by launching consulate for six southern provinces of Iran, this opportunity has been provided for these provinces to expand their trade with Kazakhstan.

He said Hormuzgan Province with its potential capacities in marine, mining, agricultural and other sectors is of great importance for Kazakhstan.
