Persepolis defender Shoja Khalilzadeh has agreed to stay in the team.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Persepolis defender Shoja Khalilzadeh has agreed to stay in the team.

The iconic defender had been linked with a move to Qatari teams but he has reportedly accepted to pen a new contract.

Khlailzadeh played an important role in the 2020 AFC Champions League, helping the Iranian team to reach the final for the second time in three years.

Bashar Resan, Persepolis’ Iraqi midfielder, also wants to leave the team to join a Qatari football club.
