TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran’s ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina said Tehran has always supported the stability, unity, and peaceful coexistence of all ethnic groups of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as its development.
Reza Qelich-Khan made the remarks in a meeting on Monday with Chief of the Presidential Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Jafarovic where the former handed over his credentials to Jafarovic, iranpress.com reported.
The Iranian diplomat said during the past three decades, the Iranian government and people have always stood by the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina and supported the stability, unity and peaceful coexistence of all ethnic groups in that country as well as its development.
Appreciating Iran’s support for the people and country of Bosnia and Herzegovina since the beginning of its independence in 1992, Jafarovic said, “Iran is a great and important country and relations between the two countries have always been at a good level.”
He stressed that Sarajevo welcomes promotion of political, economic, and cultural relations with Tehran.
