Iranian wrestler Hassan Yazdani ranked first in the world virtual wrestling competition which was held by the United World Wrestling.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iranian wrestler Hassan Yazdani ranked first in the world virtual wrestling competition which was held by the United World Wrestling.

The United World Wrestling official account in social media started poll by releasing images of two champions on their popularity, IRNA reported.

In semi-final stage, Hassan Yazdani from Iran and Abdulrashid Sadulaev from Russia attended the event and Iranian wrestler by receiving more votes advanced to the Final stage.

Accordingly, in the final match, Yazdani competed with Azeri wrestler Haji Aliyev and won the game by receiving 53% of votes.

Some 168,000 people participated in the poll.

Earlier on January 21, Hassan Yazdani was selected as the best fighter in the 86kg weight category, according to the United World Wrestlings ranking list and after Matteo Pellicone competitions in Italy.
