An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Firouzabad county in Lorestan province at noon.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – An 5.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale hit Firouzabad county in Lorestan province at noon.

The earthquake occurred at 12:37 p.m. local time on Wednesday at a depth of 7 kilometers.

No injuries or fatalities have been reported so far.

People in Khorramabad, the province’s capital, have also felt the earthquake and come to the streets out of fear of further jolts.
