Yemenis Are Smarter Than Saudis

War scenes in Yemen, with civilian Yemenis in tears and blood, are underway and martyring over 16,000 Yemenis, destroying over 400,000 buildings and shelters in Yemen and its consequent punishment has seized the throat of Saudis and squeezing it.

Lebanese news website Al-Ahed in a report detailed the crimes of Saudis and wrote after five years of imposed war, Yemenis are forced to resist against any kind of crimes, savageries and cruel siege of Saudi regime and they work on plans to destroy their savage and blood-sucking enemies.

Statistics show that in over five years of war, more than 16,000 defenseless Yemenis, including about 4,000 children, have been killed and over 25,000 people have been wounded seriously. In the same period and because of constant air, missile and artillery strikes of Saudis and their allies, 15 airports, 14 ports, 750 water supply network, 2700 bridges and roads, 1800 installations and government centers and 200 power stations and sub-stations, as well as 950 mosques, 360 tourism facilities, 350 hospitals and health centers, 130 sport centers, 1,000 schools and education centers, 40 media institutes, 75 university centers, 220 historical centers and sites and some 5,000 farms have been destroyed and demolished.

Now with such a record of savagery, the Saudis who spend some $80b annually for imposing war on Yemen and with their current economy affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus have lost their strength to continue the war, and because of lacking enough courage and strength to confront with prudence and plans of Yemeni fighters have called for truce. Of course Yemeni officials consider this proposal of Saudis for a cease-fire as a deceit for refreshing their economy.

All the world know it well that Saudis imposed the war on Yemen just for the sake of bringing their lackeys to power in the country and the call for temporary cease-fire means that Saudis in such a breath-taking economic condition are unable to tackle with war strategies and plans of Yemeni forces and have raised the issue of cease-fire.

That in an unequal war between Saudis and Yemenis, the cease-fire is restored and both sides stop attacking each other and shedding blood of people, either civilian and military, are welcomed by the Muslim world.

What this imposed war has caused damages for both sides is nothing but loss of Muslim world wealth that should one day be utilized for developing the culture of the (Salehin) righteous. But that one party resorts to trickery in order to save its unpleasant and shaky condition is naturally unacceptable for the other party. Although Mohammed Ali Al Houthi, the chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee of Yemen, in his twitter account warned and wrote, “In response to the letter of UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths, we sent a message to him and expressed our will for restoring peace and our support of his efforts for restoring peace, and announced that we are hopeful that unlike previous efforts and talks which were based on tactics rather than finding final and perfect solutions which faced failures, this time that he prepares the grounds, we would witness signing the deal and making it public.”

In return, Griffiths replied that due to report of first Coronavirus case in Yemen, he has drawn up a plan for restoring ceasefire which includes 3 parts: First, the ceasefire includes all Yemenis. Secondly, economic and humanitarian measures should be taken to decrease Yemeni people’s woes, and thirdly, the political process for ending the war should resume. Although head of negotiating team of Sanaa government in Yemen Mohammed Abdul-Salam has stated that Saudi coalition’s call for unilateral ceasefire is merely a trickery and deceitful and it is just for misleading the world opinion because if there was a real will for restoring peace, the UNSC could have issued a straight approval for stopping useless war and lifting the siege on Yemen.

Today’s condition in Yemen with sustainability of the shadow of Coronavirus is different than ever and all Muslim states especially Iran are duty-bound to boost strongly their diplomatic efforts to end this big damage inflicted on the body of Islamic countries in order that in this current world condition, they could alleviate pains on the body of Muslim world.
