Massacre of Children and Silence of the World

Following  Saudi Arabia’s attacks on civilian areas in Yemen, Yemen Health Ministry announced that because of the Saudi-led coalition attacks at Al-Jawf province, 35 people killed of which 26 children and 23 people were wounded, 18 children among them. Immediately spokesman for Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree warned that in case Saudi forces continue their attacks and besiege, they should wait heavy and painful blows.

Last September when Yemen Army attacked on refineries of Saudi Arabia Aramco oil facilities of Abqaiq and Khurais, they called the attacks as “The Second Balance of Deterrence Operation.” This week Saree announced another attack of Yemen forces at Aramco oil facilities and called it “the Third Balance of Deterrence Operation.”

According to Al-Masirah TV channel, the Yemen Army spokesman Saree further noted that Yemeni forces used a squadron of 12 Sammad-3 (Invincible-3) combat drones, as well as a volley of Zolfaqar winged and long-range ballistic missiles and two Quds ballistic missiles to strike the important targets. He said the missiles struck energy facilities in addition to sensitive sites in the Saudi port city of Yanbu, situated about 165 kilometers west of Medina.

He went on to say that Yemeni armed forces reserve the right to respond to crimes being perpetrated by the Saudi-led military alliance against the Yemeni nation, their last crime was their recent attack on civilians at al-Jawf.

Saudi-UAE Coalition spokesperson Colonel Turki Al-Maliki as usual said that nothing has happened, claiming that the coalition defense system has shot down some ballistic missile which had been fired by Yemeni forces. Of course, he did mention nothing about operation of 12 Yemeni drones. His remarks came at the time some sources in Saudi Arabia both denied and confirmed shooting down of all fired missiles by the Saudi Arabia’s defense system.

Despite media silence in Saudi Arabia, some strong explosions were heard and Saudis warned over publishing the pictures of the explosions. Last September after Yemeni forces’ attacks on Aramco oil facilities, Saudis first denied it and tried to show the mishap as a small fire but after going viral of pictures from the massive fires, they were forced to confirm the attack.

Yemeni revolutionaries in the past 60 months have conducted several big, effective and sensitive operations against Saudis. Their most important operation was their drone attack on two Al-Abqaiq and Al-Khurais refineries in east of Saudi Arabia which inflicted over $30b of damage on Saudis. Their biggest operation was also “Nasro min-Allah (means victory comes from Allah) operation in Najran which inflicted heavy losses on Saudis. Operation “Bonyan-al-Marsous” in east of Sanaa is famous as a big strategic operation.

Now it has been reported that Yemen Army and revolutionaries once again and in reaction to repeated aggressions of Saudis at Yemen and reviving the memory of their abhorrent child-killing habits and in an uneven war, targeted Saudi Arabia. The attack is important because it happened at the time when U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was to visit Saudi Arabia and it was somehow show of muscles and authority of Ansarullah forces.

Local forces in eastern Yemen’s al-Mahra province near the Omani border say after Saudi troops stormed into Al-Mahra and clashed with dwellers of the province, tribal forces were mobilized and significant number of tribal forces gathered to fight with Saudis. They say Al-Mahra dwellers will not seat silent and will use all options to defend their provinces because the issue of occupation and vivid aggression to Al-Mahra has made people in the province to stage protests for months to show their opposition against Saudis’ occupation of the province and tribal forces repeatedly resisted for setting up military bases by Saudis.

Now some sources in the province say that Saudi Arabia has turned Al-Mahra into a military base while people in the province are ready to confront with Saudi occupiers.

That Saudis with their blood-stained hands are not ready to stop attacking on civilians and residential areas in Yemen can be analyzed this way that since Saudi Family has no enough power to fight with Yemeni jihadi forces, they try to increase domestic pressure in Yemen in order to increase pressure on Yemeni Army in order that resistance forces give in but they have forgotten this important issue about Shiite fighters that the spirit of jihad and fighting has not dried in them since 1400 years ago when their symbol of freedom-fighting Imam Hossein (A) who was martyred in uneven war, and this spirit has been the main factor in grandeur and brave spirit among Shiite fighters through history.
