TEHRAN – Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters Saeed Mohammad yesterday reiterated that the headquarters does not rival with the private sector and it is a supportive umbrella for it.

Speaking at the Exhibition on Production Pick-Up in Tehran, he hailed fast progress of the Islamic Revolution towards establishming an Islamic civilization, saying that the U.S. government by creating hurdles is after slowing down the country’s progress by increasing pressure on people’s daily life.

Mohammad referred to the Supreme Leader’s remarks on strengthening resistance economy as the only way for getting out of the current condition and salvage of the country. He said if the country has a strong economy, it will be immune to outside pressures.

He reiterated that the country is currently in economic war condition and for this reason the Supreme Leader called for amending the structure of budget and all generating assets should be guided towards production.

Mohammad also called for security and guarantee for investors, adding all should work to allure investments in production rather than they are invested in the parallel markets.

He reiterated that by increasing tax, the country should increase the expense of investment in parallel speculation markets.

Mohammad added that the headquarters is after creating bartering mechanism for passing from the sanctions era.

He said the headquarters is to offer a big order to Esfahan Steel Company, adding that the headquarters has succeeded in indigenizing 70 percent of equipment of Persian Gulf Star Refinery and this move has saved $7b for the country.

Technical and Engineering Exhibition of Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters was inaugurated in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla yesterday in the presence of Ministers of Roads Mohammad Eslami and Industry Minister Reza Rahmani.
