Martyr Soleimani Was Civilization-Maker

When I look back at the performance of IRGC’s Quds forces before Martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani took its helm that was full of problems and involvement of some of its members in the economic issues and even they were involved in the legal and judiciary cases, I compare it with the current Quds Forces under leadership of Martyr Soleimani and its big mission, I am amazed how the role of leadership in a definable process is praiseworthy and commendable.

Once I used to attend group training courses in Lausanne of Switzerland and Vienna of Austria where they instructed us methods of approach to balance sheet. During those courses, some excellence management methods were instructed. They instructed us Japanese management Theory Z, and later instructed a developed method under the title of Kaizen, common excellence managements in Europe EFQM as well as excellent managements in Canada and the U.S. like Balanced Score Card (BSC) and modern and upgraded performance models of management which are applied in big companies like Boeing, Caterpillar, IBM and some oil and military companies. Hence, for this reason they had put these methods on their syllabus of training and it was named 6 Sigma, and one can dare to say that hundreds of our hours had been allocated to it, and I, to some extent, could transfer my experience from the courses to my colleague in Tehran. The course highlighted the role of leadership by over 70 percent.

But when I look back at it, comparison between what Martyr Soleimani and his comrades did became more practical and comprehensible. Quds Forces with Martyr Soleimani were after nothing but making civilization for Islam, and I believe his successor dear brother Brigadier General Esmail Qa’ani undoubtedly will follow Martyr Soleimani’s path with a new and developed spirit.

During those days when Martyr Soleimani had almost managed to curb Daesh forces in Syria and Iraq, and Israelis, while got stuck in quagmire of Daesh, felt feeble against the Quds Forces and mobilization of groups in Syria and Iraq, Zbigniew Brzezinski Polish-American diplomat, political scientist and former U.S. Security Advisor during President Jimmy Carter term, wrote an article which was then considered as his political party’s view. He wrote, “Once the late leader of Iran (Imam Khomeini) believed war with Iraq was a blessing for the country. Later I had a visit to Turkey and consulted with Turkish officials. I still remember what a Turkish official ironically told me. He told me to go back to the U.S. and to prepare yourselves for the Great Ottoman Empire. He used some remarks and pointed to Iranian leader’s remarks (that war is a blessing) that Iran is not considered a serious rival for Turkey in the region. I got surprised. At that time I laughed at the ignorance of that Turkish official. As I have once and again repeated that despite the country has been under maximum pressures and sanctions over for thirty-some years, today it ranks 17^th in the global economy despite all problems, the country which has institutionalized nuclear science and it is a pioneer country in the world in the stem cells, having the fifth strongest army in the world, the Middle East is completely under its dominance.  I strongly believe that in the near future this country with such capacities and domestic capabilities can revive the big Islamic civilization that its late Leader Imam Khomeini was after it. And where are those Turkish naïve officials who lost their control just with some-hour-long coup d’état. If the West have the guts, they let Iran alone and stop helping and obstacle it. Then I, as an old man, (the article was written in the last days of his life) will definitely see the Persia Empire. Today President Obama, French President Hollande, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, German Chancellor Merkel and resigned British Prime Minister David Cameroon had to get appointments in order to meet Iranian officials, and Iranians if they accept, then they instruct them how they have made their countries safe and secure despite being engulfed with terrorism and extremisms of rebel groups in their neighborhood. Today Iran is one of the safest and most stable countries in the world and Western statesmen should not get astray because all current problems in Iran are economic which is the souvenir of the West.”

And today and five years after Brzezinski’s article, when I look at those remarks, Martyr Soleimani’s face is always in front of me.

Martyr Soleimani actually was civilization-maker. He recreated Iran, Islam and Imam Khomeini and he created a role in the region that it is not expected in the next one hundred years to understood any other logical and influential leader that today the world can use him as the ideal manager for idealization. May God bless him and his soul may be an heir for us to be pride of it.
