Exhibition of Elevators and Escalators Kicks Off

The 8th International Exhibition of Elevators, Escalators, Elevating Conveyors and Accessories opened at Tehran Permanent Fairground on Thursday.
The three-day exhibition is held in collaboration with Iran Chamber of Cooperatives and over 90 domestic and foreign companies have participated in the exhibition.
According to reports, Turkey, Spain, Germany and Italy are the major countries participating in the exhibition.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, some specialized panels will be held in presence of trade delegations from Iraq, Afghanistan, Tunisia, Iraqi Kurdistan and Syria.
Head of Exhibitions Affairs of Iran Chamber of Cooperatives Mr. Ali Moti Jahani said that the exhibition is aimed at putting on display the latest development and progresses in the escalators and elevators sector.
He added that the ICC is holding the exhibition for the eighth time and it aims interaction among those who are active in this sector.
In the opening ceremony, some urban officials, officials of ministry of industry, mine and trade as well as some officials of ICC and activists in the elevator industry field were present.
