TEHRAN (Iran News) – Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif will go to the US, New York in January 2020 for a UN meeting.
The top Iranian diplomat, Mohammad Javad Zarif as Iranian foreign minister is scheduled to visit the US economic capital, New York, on January 9.
Zarif is going to attend a meeting of the United Nations Security Council on multilateralism.
The Iranian foreign minister will go to the UN headquarters at the invitation of Vietnam, which will be holding the presidency of the UN Security Council in January 2020.
Zarif has frequently called for international efforts to preserve diplomacy, multilateralism and collective cooperation, saying the US government’s unilateralism has threatened world peace.
