U.S. Economy Encapsulated in War

After the collapse of the U.S. authority on September 11, 2001, the country’s decision to revenge with waging an 18-year-old war in the Muslim countries has led to many crises either for the U.S. or its target countries. This country invaded Afghanistan in 2001 and it continued invasion to Iraq in 2003. These two attacks have changed strategy of growth and economic and political progress in the Middle East for years. In other words, it has created an unsafe region filled with crisis whose people are sunk in blood and fire.

The U.S. interference in the region is not limited to these two events and it continued by plotting against Syria and pushed Syria into an unstable era and dragged it into an 8-year of massacre and bloodshed.

In Iraq also U.S.-backed terrorists almost occupied and took the control of Baghdad but they failed due to prudence of jurisprudence and public resistance in the country. But in recent months, new round of the U.S. projects in the region has resumed. In the new round, the U.S., by creating internal crises, attempts to drag regional countries into unrests and bankruptcy in order to ultimately tame them and to dictate its policies in those states.

In Lebanon, U.S.-backed pawns have created crises which have not been quelled since October, and with the collapse of Lebanon’s national currency pound’s value against the U.S. dollar, people poured into the streets. Experts believe that a U.S.-Saudi-Zionist sedition has been activated against Lebanon’s security and economy.

In Iraq, also a political coup was carried out against Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi government which ultimately turned into violence, and over 400 people were killed during the unrests.  In order to prevent exacerbation of the violence and respecting the Shiite jurisprudents’ demands in Najaf, Mr. Abdul-Mahdi resigned.

Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar in a documented report claimed that the plot has been devised by the U.S., and Saudi Arabia and the UAE have been chosen as financial sponsors of the plot and the U.S. Embassy in Iraq has been chosen as the executive element. The U.S. goal is to push Iraq towards disintegration or to establish a secular structure in the country.

In Afghanistan, too, the U.S. meddling in the presidential election has created a condition that two months of the election, the government has yet to announce the result and Americans try to continue their talks with Taliban in order to question the legitimacy of the central government and to weaken the legal government’s authority.

The most important point, regarding the U.S. failures in the region and above all country’s interference in Afghanistan, is that the country has not been successful in materializing its goals despite spending one trillion dollars.

The American newspaper Washington Post by referring to a few thousand-page document has confirmed that all three American Presidents have misled the public opinion about Afghanistan war in recent 19 years and they have been trumpeting the victory.

The U.S. cruel performance has made people in those countries draw this conclusion that they should themselves take action against the U.S.

Although attacks at the U.S. bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria are carried out under names of unknown groups and individuals, its result is actually increasing the price of occupation for the U.S. The latest attack at the U.S. base happened in Afghanistan. A car-bomb blasted near the American military base in Bagram in Afghanistan.

According to media reports, the U.S. forces were forced to exchange fire with the armed people near the Bagram base in north of Kabul.

Afghan and NATO coalition officials both confirmed that a suicide-bomber has exploded himself outside the Bagram air base.  The base is one of the largest bases of the U.S. in Afghanistan which President Trump visited recently.

Afghan officials have announced that over 50 civilians have been wounded in the attack. The pictures published by the local media from the explosion show that several buildings have been damaged.

NATO forces in Afghanistan have confirmed the explosion but the NATO mission’s spokesman said coalition forces had suffered no casualties.

NATO usually refrains from announcing its casualty.  The U.S. military troops were also targeted by missile attacks in Al-Amr oil field in east of Syria. American occupiers were forced to respond to the attack by firing aimlessly.

Abdel Bari Atwan, the editor-in-chief of Rai al-Youm, in an article termed recent events as a shift in strategy for fight against the U.S., adding that Syrian President Bashar Assad has said that the country may use resistance or militia forces in order to expel the U.S. troops from oil-rich east of Syria.

In fact, serial acts against the U.S. military bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria indicate that the U.S. should wait for consequences of its belligerent policies and plots in the region.
