Iran’s Azad University earned a loss and a win at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) University World Cup - 3x3 on Thursday.

According To Iran News, Iran’s Azad University earned a loss and a win at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) University World Cup – 3×3 on Thursday.

Azad University lost to ISEG of Senegal 11-6 and defeated Uganda’s Christ. U 25-4 in its second match.

Azad University will play U Chile on Saturday.

On Friday will see the first matches in Pools B and D in both the men’s and women’s contests, with the finals on Saturday (November 2) and Sunday (November 3).

The 2019 edition of the University World Cup – 3×3 is being held in Xiamen, China, for a fifth year in a row from 31 October to 3 November.

Since the inaugural edition, Huaqio University in Xiamen has hosted this electrifying event on their home court. Huaqiao therefore, automatically qualify for the finals. The rest of the teams have come through tough continental qualifying tournaments to earn their place in the finals.

This year’s finalists once again represent university teams from all continents.
