The Islamic Republic of Iran, by leadership of the late Imam Khomeini, led to major developments in the world which not only caused the collapse of Eastern thought with its Communism approach but also caused today fractures in the world of capitalism which are getting more and more evident.

These evidences have become so crystal clear that even the leaders of European republics have avowed it and believe that capitalism is inevitably on its way to the collapse. Recently French President Emmanuel Macron during his speech on foreign policy and international system has said, “We are living the end of Western hegemony. We, Westerns, since the 18th Century on, had used to establishments based on Western hegemony. And in this belief of  leadership of Western countries was handed over to France and enlightenment movement (Renaissance). In the 19th century, due to the Industrial Revolution, civil wars and conflicts in France and its impotence to comply with the Industrial Revolution, this leadership was shifted to Britain and in the 20th century and because of two world wars and heavy damages on Europe during the wars and economic supremacy of the U.S., the leadership was handed over to the U.S.”

Macron said, “Now everything has changed. The West has made errors. During the crises, some bad decisions have been made. Some bad and wrong decisions have been made by the U.S. … which had consequences and we thought those consequences were imperceptible but they have not been so, and have caused the condition to change in terms of management and public consent.  So, today the geopolitical realties have changed against the West and we are witnessing emergence of new powers that we had undermined them in the past because of narcissism and wrong beliefs. To recognize those powers, we should at first look at China and then Russia which have had successful strategies rather than us in recent years.”

Macron also said that emerging powers are not confined to only economic ones but they have been political powers, too, which consider themselves as civilizations that are developing the international order and they have impact on the world economy.

He went on to say, “Look at India, Russia and China (he does not mention explicitly Iran but his remarks on civilization actually imply to Iran,” Macron said. “Today, they have much stronger political inspiration than the Europeans. They think about the world with real logic, real philosophy, with an imagination we have lost and this is also changing us.”

He finally underlined that capitalism is facing an unprecedented crisis. Anti-capitalist developments in France shows that the public climate and public opinion is not in favor capitalism and it can be said it is even against capitalism and this feeling and belief does not limit to France and it has been revealed in other countries.

Protests in UK, Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain against rightist policies show this growing belief that capitalism has been unable to satisfy majority of people in Europe and even the U.S. That when this belief can turn into an effective factor for the collapsing is unpredictable but it is a truth which is hidden in the history of West’s future which is inevitable to escape. Most political and economic experts who have good command on West’s economic and political information and data believe that France is the first country in the West which will fall to the trap and collapse, and in wake of collapse of capitalism in France, this will extend to other countries in Europe, like a dominoes game, and finally it will burn the U.S. down.
