Self-created crisis and recent developments in Britain and new decisions which have been taken on pretext of preparing the ground for the Brexit shows that neither monarchical system, nor House of Lords and nor powerful British power bodies have no commitment to remain committed to democracy in the strategic pillars of the country.

IRAN NEWS POLITICAL DESK

In the course of the Brexit, suspension of parliament and silencing the voice of opposition and critics on the way of implementing the Brexit , or essentially,  on pulling out of the Brexit is a dictatorial act which was committed by the British Queen and it is a big failure towards respecting democracy for the country which had earlier tasted a humiliating defeat during a piracy and seizure of Iranian oil tanker. The newly-elected British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had earlier said that in order to implement the Brexit, he would do it at any cost even at the expense of suspending the Parliament. In such a deplorable situation, British Queen finally agreed with the Prime Minister’s request to suspend the parliament in order to seemingly prepare the way for the implementation of the Brexit.

Parliament in any country is considered as symbol of democracy. One of the actions which is usually taken during the coup d’etats and toppling of the governments is to eliminate parliament and people and their roles in decision-makings and to take a dictatorial approach for administering the affairs.

Suspension of British parliament means using coercion for silencing the voice of people’s representatives, and initially, the act reflects a dictatorial behavior by British Queen and Boris Johnson as the Prime Minister of Britain; and it is a lasting disgrace in the history of British deceits and for the country which used to make a great fuss over democracy at the times when its claim had not been tested seriously. Even if this decision would have no negative consequences for UK and it helps Jonson to carry out its Brexit plan, it is a mere disgrace for Britain and its monarchy in prospect of ruling system.

This decision of suspending parliament might be, at first sight, a measure for removing the effective hurdle in way of implementing the Brexit and an important step for its fulfillment but it seems this approach and assumption is not so close to the reality and engaging this variable and component to the chaotic scene, and of course full of variables of the Brexit,  would not solve the issue but it also would lead to ignore it, and it can have even heavy consequences on this country’s monarchical system.

If we take a look back at the history of the decision when UK decided to leave EU, we see a marginal gap in the referendum between supporters and the opposition of the Brexit, and maybe one season that UK has been unable to accomplish the Brexit is because of this marginal referendum result.

The recent development and decision in London is actually some kind of silencing almost half of Britain’s population but it cannot stop this population from not to employing their legal and necessary tools and options to show their opposition and anger to this issue.

One thing which has led to closeness and proximity of the regions despite current division in the geographical structure of the country is monarchical and parliamentarian system. In geographical parts of like Wales, Scotland, Ireland and England which is known as England and in political literature as UK, there are abundant cultural, social, political and economic differences and so far many independence-seeking currents have been born and grown in those areas and those currents have still strong roots for pursuing their independence-seeking ambitions.

The most important thing is that the suspension of parliament in this current chaotic situation will provide a good opportunity for the independence-seekers in those so-called British areas and states, and it may lead to an end to the British supremacy in the world because UK has recently suffered a humiliating defeat in confrontation with the Islamic Republic of Iran on the seizure of Iranian oil tanker at the Straight of Bab-el-Mandeb.

This British piracy ended with a humiliating result for Britain due to the Islamic Republic’s actions and UK had no way but to release Iranian oil tanker while British oil tanker which had been seized by Iran’s IRGC  at the request of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization for violating international marine laws is still under seizure.

It seems after words like “Pirate Queen” and “Queen of the Pirates” which have been coined in the political literatures, we can see new expressions and words like “Dictator Queen” or “Dictatorship of the Queen” in the upcoming statements and articles of Iranian analysts and experts.
