Hamed Yazdanpanah said that the congress is an annual event and one can say it is one of the most prestigious specialized congresses in neurosurgery of the country.

He went on to say that since the congress is held in an international level, it is expected that 300 to 400 out of 700 neurosurgeons in the country would attend this international event and the latest scientific findings in this field will be presented.
Yazdanpanah went on to say that it is expected distinguished Iranian neurosurgeon Professor Majid Samii to attend the congress as he has been invited to the event.
He noted that some experts from countries like Turkey and Pakistan have been invited to the countries, adding that the congress will host experts from countries like Germany and Italy. He added the presence of those experts in the event would be a good opportunity for Iranian residents and surgeons.
Yazdanpanah added that the neurosurgery ward of Kashan University of Medical Sciences has started training and admitting residents since four years ago.
