According to reports, the MoU was signed in the central building of the NIDC in Ahwaz and in presence of the CEO of the company Eng. Seyed Abdollah Mousavi and head of the Islamic Azad University of Khorasan Razavi Dr. Ali Sorouri Majd.

The MoU was the result of synergy of scientific and research department and managements of research, technology, marketing, production engineering and international cooperation and human resources departments of the company and the MoU revealed the significance of interaction and expansion of cooperation between the company and universities.
Speaking in the ceremony, Eng. Mousavi welcomed the cooperation with Azad Islamic University, saying that the company has currently interactions with majority of the universities like Sharif, Azad Islamic, Amir Kabir, Tehran and Science and Industry universities in scientific, research fields and it is in constant exchange of experience with them.
He reiterated that the result of such cooperation with universities is the indigenizing production of major spare parts in the oil industry.
