Talking in Hayat 6 radio program on efficient management of water consumption, Mr. Khamesi said that Badrud region company by using telemetric and tele control system, managed to curb waste of water and it boosted the capacity for water supply for the region.

He went on to say that in recent years, the company has managed to lower the waste of water in Badrud Town by repairing and renovating the old and worn-out system, adding that in 2013, the amount of wasting water was over 44 percent but the figure fell to 21 percent in 5 years, and one can say the water waste in Badrud Town has fallen by 23 percent within five years.
He noted that Badrud is located on a desert area and it faced an unprecedented drought last year but drinking water supply in the town had no problem.
Khamesi added that the water supply for the town is through wells and online monitoring of quality and quantity of water in the wells is essential for sustainable water supply.
He went on to say that the current consumption water per capita in the town is 180 liters per day while the figures was over 200 liters per day two years ago, adding that the company is doing its best to promote the culture of efficient water consumption in order to lower more the water consumption per capita.
Khamesi reiterated that in the past ten years and in Badrud, the volume of underground water has dropped sharply and in such a condition, the company triedto control the situation by wise management and this year due to significant raining, the company will still continue managing efficient water consumption.
Later in the radio program, head of House of Water Culture of Isfahan Ms. Zohreh Tashiee said that correcting the consumption pattern and efficient consumption needs institutionalizing sustainable culture for efficient consumption.
