Shahrdari Varamin into Asian Club Volleyball Championship Quarters
Shahrdari Varamin of Iran advanced to the 2019 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship quarterfinals on Saturday.

Shahrdari swept past Sri Lanka Ports Authority in straight sets (25-17, 25-21, 25-21) in Pool B at the National Taipei University of Education Gymnasium.

The Iranian side will face Vietnamese TP.HCM in Pool F on Sunday.

Shahrdari Varamin has already defeated Indonesian team Polri Samator and Galkan from Turkmenistan in the tournament.

The 10th edition of the Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship has been organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association (CTVA).

The tournament is being held in Taipei, Chinese Taipei from April 18 to 26.

The winner of this tournament will qualify for the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship.
