‘IranConMin 2018” exhibition inaugurated in Tehran today

The 14th Intl. Exhibition for Mines, Construction Machinery and Related Industry & Equipment dubbed “IranConMin 2018” was opened in Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds today morning on Fri. with the participation of 160 domestic industrial-production units and 40 foreign companies including Italy, Germany, Turkey, China, Russia and Poland.

In this exhibition, various types of mining equipment and machinery including [underground and open-pit mines’ equipment, excavation and road-construction machinery, tunneling boring machines (TBM) equipment, mineral processing machinery, equipment for cutting and processing decorated and precious stones, mine ventilation systems, software and data mining systems, modern technologies in the mineral and industrial sector, etc.] were put on display to the public.

Presenting latest achievements of manufacturers and industrialists in mining and mineral sector, introducing investment opportunities, creating new target markets, promoting exports in mineral sector, striving to boost and develop national production, improving business environment, attracting domestic and foreign capitals in mineral sectors, transferring most modern technologies in relevant field as well as creating a constructive competition among companies have been cited as the main objectives behind organizing this exhibition.”

For his part, Head of Iran Mine House Mohammad-Reza Bahraman said that more foreign companies have expressed their readiness to participate in this edition of the exhibition, adding, “moreover, Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) can play a leading role in this respect for alleviating economic pressures imposed on the country in the current situation.”

This exhibition is running in Tehran for a period of four days on Nov. 2-5.
