 During the five dealing days (Saturday-Wednesday) of the past Iranian week ended on Friday, approximately 311.164 million tons of commodities worth over $381 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME).

Last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 9,615 million tons of various products worth close to $63.4 million were traded, IME Public Relations and International Affairs Department reported on Saturday.

On this trading floor, 1,856 million tons of steel, 3,870 million tons of copper, 10 million tons of molybdenum concentrates, 9 million tons of precious metal concentrates, 2,000 million tons of aluminum, 1,000 million tons of cement as well as 880 million tons of zinc were traded by the customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 241,349 million tons of different commodities with the total value of $309.5 million were traded.

On this trading floor, 124,274 million tons of bitumen, 57,789 million tons of polymer products, 27,100 million tons of chemical products, 200 million tons of base oil and 27,500 million tons of VB feed stock were traded.

Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 60,200 million tons of various commodities worth over $13.9 million were traded. On this trading floor, 59,600 million tons of wheat, 600 million tons of sugar as well as 290 kilograms of saffron strands were traded by customers.
