The Iranian Embassy in Ankara has been evacuated after Turkish security forces received a tip about a possible suicide bombing plot, according to local media reports.
Istanbul-based Daily Sabah has quoted Turkish daily Sözcü on Monday as reporting that the Iranian Embassy in Ankara has been evacuated after Turkish security forces received a tip about a possible suicide bombing plot.
The report adds that after receiving the tip, Turkish police evacuated the Iranian ambassador and cordoned off Tehran Street where the embassy is located.
