Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, the deputy army chief for coordination affairs, said on Saturday that Iran has been helping 30 countries in the area of regional security.
“We have helped 30 countries in the area of regional security. We passed the Suez Canal for the first time and anchored in Lattakia which means we passed the Zionist regime’s beaches without responding to the regime’s stations,” he said.
Elsewhere, he noted that based on international law, Iran is permitted to sail in international waters.
