The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari promised to pound a heavy blow to terrorists to retaliate for the July 20 attack on a base in Marivan.

The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said that the IRGC will deliver a blow of the same weight to the terrorist group responsible for martyring 11 guards of the IRGC.

The top commander made the remarks on Monday referring to a recent attack of the terrorist and anti-revolutionary group of PJAK. The ambush attack occurred at 2:30 a.m. on July 20 and eleven people were martyred and 8 people were wounded in the attack.

“We have to do something to stop the rude presence of these terrorists in our country,” reiterated the Iranian senior military official.
