Iran’s legal challenge against US illegal sanctions goes before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) Monday (Aug 27), since US has no right to reinstate such measures.
Tehran filed a suit against US President Donald Trump’s decision to reimpose economic sanctions at the Hague-based International Court of Justice last month.
After unilaterally pulling out of a historic hard-won deal in May, Trump reimposed illegitimate sanctions against Iran in early August, despite Iran’s full commitment to the implementation of JCPOA.
