TEHRAN – Reformist lawmaker Mohammad-Reza Tabesh has reacted to anti-Iran remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, saying Trump rules his country “as if he is still a hotel owner”.

Trump who threatened Iran with a strong military attack on July 23 said a few days later that the U.S. is ready for a “real deal” with Iran.

“Such contradictory remarks show that the Americans are confused and have no discipline and order in their foreign policy,” Tabesh was quoted by ISNA on Friday.

He added that the anti-Iran remarks by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo suggests that Washington leaders have no realistic understanding of “the Iranian nation, and our history, civilization and government structure.”
