 Young Iranian tennis player Sina Moghimi has won the first ever title for Iran in an international tennis competition.

The Iranian young tennis player faced an opponent from the host country Armenia in the final match and won him in two sets with 6-2 and 7-6 results.

Russia and Sweden’s representatives won the third and fourth places.

The tournament attracted some 32 tennis players from Iran, Russia, England, Armenia, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Bulgaria, Lebanon, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Austria, Turkey, Slovakia and Belarus.

While the competitions lasted for two weeks, Iran’s representative jointly came third during the first week of the event.
