Director General of Pakistan’s Federal Investigating Agency Bashir Ahmed Memon said that his country is ready to boost ties with Iran’s Police Force in all related domains.

He made the remarks in Tehran on Tuesday while paying a visit to and identification center related to investigation bureau of Iran’s Police.

Expressing satisfaction over increased relations between Iran and Pakistan police forces during recent years, Ahmed Memon said that the two neighboring nations almost suffer from similar problems.

He hoped that expansion of bilateral cooperation would resolve regional issues such as human trafficking and terrorism.

Touching upon the great authority of Iran’s Police Force in ensuring security of common borders, the Pakistani general highlighted intelligence and operational cooperation between the states and said that

Describing Iran-Pakistan ties as deep and friendly, he added that his country is ready to enhance the level of relations with Iran more than ever.

Elsewhere, he referred to advanced and high-tech equipment of the identification center, saying that he will convey experiences gained in this visit to young Pakistani officers.
