A delegation of Iranian MPs left Tehran for Kiev early on Monday to hold the Iran-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group meetings and meet with a host of Ukrainian officials.

The Chairman of Social Issues Commission of Iranian Parliament Salman Khodadi headed the members of Iran-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group to Ukrainian capital city of Kiev.

The four-strong delegation of Iranian law-makers travelled to Kiev accepting the invitation made by Ukrainian Chairman of the Friendship Group Leonid Kozachenko.

The members of Iranian parliamentary delegation are slated to meet with Ukrainian executive and legislative officials during their stay in Kiev.

Ma’soumeh Aghapour Alishahi, from Shabestar Constituency, Ahmad Bigdeli from Khodabandeh Constituency, and Bashir Khaleghi from Khalkhal Constituency are accompanying Salman Khodadi in this mission.

The Iranian legislators are expected to exchange views with Ukrainian officials, during the scheduled meetings, on the ways to broaden cultural, political, and economic cooperation.
